Palantir CEO Blasts Democrats Over Failed Agenda
Alex Karp says Americans reject woke ideology and demand real leadership.
The 2024 election delivered a brutal reality check for Democrats, as their focus on woke narratives alienated everyday Americans. Alex Karp, co-founder and CEO of Palantir, minced no words while addressing the issue at the Reagan National Defense Forum. According to Karp, Democrats failed to grasp the fundamental human desire for safety and strength in the face of mounting threats.
“Americans are the most loving, God-fearing, fair, least discriminatory people on the planet,” Karp stated. “But they want to know that if someone is plotting to harm them, or poison their communities with fentanyl, or take Americans hostage, something really bad will happen to those responsible.”
Karp emphasized that U.S. dominance is essential to ensuring peace and safety.
Security Is Key: Americans spend over a trillion dollars on defense, yet many feel that those resources are not delivering real results. From hostile foreign powers to domestic crises, Karp argued that the lack of decisive action undermines the confidence of everyday citizens.
Fear as a Deterrent: Karp didn’t hold back, saying adversaries “need to wake up scared, and go to bed scared.” According to him, this principle is foundational to keeping Americans safe and ensuring the country’s moral and strategic superiority.
Rejecting Woke Policies: Karp drew a direct line between Democrats’ embrace of progressive ideologies and their electoral losses. “They do not want to hear your woke pagan ideology,” he said. “They want to know they’re safe. And safe means the other person is scared.”
Karp also took aim at institutions he views as captured by progressive elites, saying they fail to represent what Americans truly value. “The average American understands this,” he said, contrasting the common sense of regular citizens with the ideology promoted by academic elites and political insiders.
In his closing remarks, Karp highlighted the stakes of strong leadership: “The soldiers are happier, the enemies are scared, and Americans go back to enjoying the fact that we’re the only ones with a real tech scene in this country and we’re going to win everything.”
The message was clear. The Democratic Party’s focus on divisive ideologies has not only failed to resonate but has also left Americans feeling less secure. It’s time for leadership that prioritizes safety, strength, and the values that make this country exceptional.
