Obama Leads Biden Off Stage at Hollywood Fundraiser

In a scene that raises eyebrows about the current President’s capacity to lead, former President Barack Obama had to guide Joe Biden off stage at a Hollywood fundraiser on Saturday night. The event, which was brimming with Hollywood celebrities, ended with Obama taking Biden's hand and leading him off as the band played. Biden, with clenched hands, only turned to leave when Obama intervened.

This incident is just one in a series of unsettling moments for President Biden. At the recent G-7 summit, Biden wandered away from other leaders who were facing forward, prompting Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni to awkwardly retrieve him. Additionally, Biden left many puzzled when he awkwardly pressed his forehead into Pope Francis’s, resulting in a confused expression from the Pope.

Earlier the same day, First Lady Jill Biden attempted to address concerns about her husband's age while speaking to a group of roughly 250 seniors in Phoenix, Arizona. She remarked, “Joe and the other guy are essentially the same age so let’s not be fooled. … Biden is a healthy, wise, 81-year-old ready to work every day to make our future better.”

However, these reassurances seem hollow in the face of ongoing investigations and reports. Special Counsel Robert Hur’s investigation into Biden revealed alarming details. According to the report, “Mr. Biden’s memory was significantly limited, both during his recorded interviews with the ghostwriter in 2017 [with whom he shared classified materials], and in his interview with our office in 2023 … We have also considered that, at trial, Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”

The recordings from 2017 showed Biden already struggling with memory and cognition, with the special counsel noting signs of “diminished faculties and faulty memory.” These revelations come at a critical time as Biden’s capacity to lead is increasingly called into question.

These instances underscore a growing concern about Biden’s fitness for office. With the 2024 elections approaching, the American people must critically evaluate the leadership capabilities of those in power.
