Obama Campaigns With Democrat Who Fantasized About Killing Republicans

With just days to go before Virginia's elections, Democrats are making it clear where they stand shoulder to shoulder with extremists. Over the weekend, former President Barack Obama took to the campaign trail to support Democratic gubernatorial nominee Abigail Spanberger, and in doing so, shared the stage with one of the most scandal-plagued candidates in recent memory Jay Jones.

Jones, the Democratic nominee for Attorney General, was exposed for grotesque text messages in which he fantasized about murdering Republican leaders including suggesting that then-House Speaker Todd Gilbert and his wife should watch their child die. These aren’t jokes. These are the unhinged fantasies of someone asking to wield legal power in a major U.S. state.

Yet, there was Obama, standing alongside him no condemnation, no distancing, just smiles and handshakes.

Meanwhile, Obama praised Spanberger as a model of civility and unity, claiming she listens to all Virginians and avoids divisive rhetoric. But that narrative falls apart quickly:

• Spanberger has refused to say whether Jones’ twisted comments should disqualify him from public office.

• She recently declared she would not work with President Trump if he returns to office even if it meant bringing jobs to Virginia.

• While preaching unity, she stands by as her running mate fantasizes about political assassination.

Let’s not forget this is the same Democrat Party that claims to be fighting to “restore norms” and “heal political divisions.” Apparently, those ideals only apply when convenient. Imagine the national outcry if a Republican candidate had ever texted about murdering a Democrat’s child. The media wouldn’t stop talking about it for weeks. But when a Democrat does it? Silence. Or worse endorsement.

The hypocrisy is staggering, but it’s also revealing. This is the face of today’s Democrat Party: lawlessness, hate, and unchecked extremism hiding behind polished speeches and empty slogans.

While Obama lectures Americans on civility, he ignores the radicals in his own party. While Spanberger talks about bipartisanship, she refuses to work with President Trump the very man who brought record employment to Virginia before Biden and Harris derailed the economy.

And while everyday Americans struggle under skyrocketing inflation, rising crime, and open borders, Democrats in Virginia are endorsing candidates who joke about political murder.

Here’s what’s really at stake in this election: sanity, law and order, and the future of Virginia. Voters have a clear choice reject the dangerous double standards and decline of decency, or fall further into the chaos the Left keeps enabling.
