Noem Pledges Full Support for ICE Amid Wave of Anti-Law Enforcement Protests
As ICE agents face violent attacks and threats, DHS chief reminds America Trump administration stands with those who protect the homeland.

As anti-ICE protests rage in the streets following the lawful shooting of a known agitator in Minneapolis, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem is making one thing abundantly clear: this administration stands with law enforcement always.
Speaking on Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, Noem delivered a powerful message of gratitude and unshakable support to the men and women of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Border Patrol, and other federal officers who risk their lives every day to keep America safe.
“President Trump and I will always stand with you,” Noem said Friday. “With more than 80,000 officers and agents, our Department is the largest law enforcement agency in the federal government.”
The message comes as coordinated far-left protests target ICE officers across the country. The flashpoint? A 37-year-old ICE Watch activist was fatally shot in Minneapolis after she used her vehicle to charge at an ICE officer, who fired in clear self-defense.
According to DHS, this wasn’t a random tragedy it was an act of domestic terrorism. That same officer had previously been dragged 100 yards by an illegal alien sex offender during an earlier arrest attempt. These agents aren’t just being yelled at they’re being hunted.
The data paints a chilling picture:
1,300% increase in assaults against ICE agents
3,200% increase in vehicular attacks
8,000% increase in death threats
Yet in spite of the violence and venom from the activist class, ICE agents continue doing their jobs. Just this week, ICE arrested multiple illegal aliens convicted of murder, sex crimes, and firearms trafficking, including:
A murderer from Queens, New York
A child predator in California
A firearms trafficker and accomplice to murder in Maryland
An aggravated assailant in Texas
Noem urged Americans to show appreciation to law enforcement officers not just in word, but in deed.
“Make them a meal, buy them a cup of coffee, or simply thank them,” she said. “Your service is paramount to our nation’s safety.”
While far-left politicians and media elites rally behind agitators who interfere with federal operations, this administration is standing shoulder-to-shoulder with those who uphold the law.
The contrast couldn’t be clearer: One side coddles chaos, the other backs the badge.
As DHS and ICE continue their crackdown on illegal immigration and fraudulent networks exploiting our system, Secretary Noem is drawing a firm line: those who target our officers will be met with the full weight of federal justice.
