Kristi Noem Confirms Imminent Arrests Over Anti-ICE Mob That Stormed St. Paul Church
Former CNN host Don Lemon may face charges as federal authorities crack down on leftist intimidation of worshippers.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem confirmed Tuesday evening that arrests are imminent following the shocking anti-ICE protest that disrupted a Sunday morning service at Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota. The disturbing incident, in which activists stormed into the sanctuary mid-service, has ignited national outrage and now, accountability is on its way.
“There will be arrests tied to that, and people will be brought to justice for how they violated the law in that situation,” Noem told Newsmax.
The fallout may even reach former CNN host turned YouTuber Don Lemon, who is under scrutiny for his alleged role in the mob’s coordinated disruption. Despite Lemon claiming he was simply a “bystander,” Secretary Noem strongly suggested otherwise.
“Before this even happened, he said that he had conducted some surveillance... he identified individuals going in with him who were known activists... and this entire situation was then posted on the Black Lives Matter website,” Noem explained.
If true, those details raise serious questions about Lemon’s potential complicity in the planning and execution of the ambush one that turned a house of worship into a political theater.
Leading the legal charge is Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon of the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division. Dhillon has made it clear the federal government is taking this case seriously under the Trump administration’s second term, citing the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act (FACE Act) a law which also criminalizes the disruption of religious services.
“The only question really is who they are and what other offenses there may be,” Dhillon said. “This clearly represents a violation of federal law.”
Here’s what we know so far:
Arrests are expected within hours, according to Homeland Security.
The FACE Act is being invoked to prosecute the church disruption, which criminalizes blocking or interfering with houses of worship.
Don Lemon could face charges, given his prior knowledge, associations with protest organizers, and documented presence at the scene.
The incident was premeditated and later promoted online through radical left-wing platforms like Black Lives Matter.
The incident has drawn widespread condemnation from religious liberty advocates and everyday Americans, who see this not just as a protest, but as an assault on the sanctity of worship another example of how the radical Left is now emboldened to trample faith, law, and community in pursuit of their extremist agenda.
Under Biden, incidents like this were ignored or excused. Under Trump and leaders like Noem and Dhillon, lawlessness is being met with consequences and fast.
