Nicki Minaj Praises President, Says She’s His “Number One Fan” at Summit
The rap icon throws her support behind Trump’s new baby investment plan, praising financial literacy and blasting political bullies.

In a move that left the political establishment rattled and cultural elites scrambling, rap superstar Nicki Minaj took center stage this week at the Trump Accounts Summit in Washington, D.C., declaring herself the “number one fan” of President Donald J. Trump and doing so without apology.
Appearing alongside “Shark Tank” investor Kevin O’Leary, Minaj enthusiastically endorsed Trump’s latest initiative to launch government-seeded investment accounts for American newborns, calling it “the true meaning of paying it forward.”
“I am probably the president’s number one fan, and that’s not going to change,” Minaj, 43, told the crowd. “The hate, or what people have to say, it does not affect me at all. It actually motivates me to support him more. And it’s going to motivate all of us to support him more.”
Minaj didn’t stop there. As she stood proudly on stage, she also addressed the growing trend of celebrities facing backlash for supporting Trump, making it clear she wasn’t backing down:
“We’re not going to let them get away with bullying him,” she said. “He has a lot of force behind him, and God is protecting him. Amen.”
It’s a powerful shift in cultural momentum. In an era where pop stars typically bow to woke narratives and far-left political orthodoxy, Minaj’s defiance is refreshing and perhaps even game-changing. Her support comes at a pivotal moment as Trump prepares for his return to the White House and rolls out forward-thinking, pro-family economic policies.
At the heart of Minaj’s enthusiasm is the new “Trump Accounts” initiative, part of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. The program promises that every American baby born between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2028, will receive a $1,000 investment account funded by the federal government and private contributions.
Here’s what makes the plan revolutionary:
Employer contributions to the account are tax-exempt, incentivizing private-sector involvement.
Parents can make additional contributions, with growth compounding tax-free.
At age 18, the recipient gains control of the account, following standard IRA withdrawal rules.
The White House estimates that if fully funded and untouched, the account could grow to as much as $1.9 million by age 28.
It’s a policy that merges conservative values with long-term economic empowerment precisely the kind of solution ignored by Democrats obsessed with endless welfare cycles.
Minaj took to X to explain her admiration for the initiative “Early financial literacy & financial support for our children will give them a major head start in life. In some cases, they will end up teaching their very own parents how to invest & what to invest in. This makes me very happy.”
Minaj’s bold alignment with President Trump is not new. She publicly voiced her support last year and has been increasingly critical of left-wing politicians like California Governor Gavin Newsom. In December, she appeared at AmFest alongside Erika Kirk and accepted an invitation from U.S. Ambassador Mike Waltz to speak on the persecution of Christians in Nigeria.
She’s not just voicing political opinions she’s putting action behind them. And in doing so, Nicki Minaj is helping crack the left’s decades-long stranglehold on Hollywood and pop culture.
While legacy media will undoubtedly attack her and attempt to downplay her influence, the message is clear: the MAGA movement is growing across industries, across demographics, and across generations. Nicki Minaj isn’t afraid to say it out loud, and neither should the rest of us.
