‘End Racism’ Message to Be Removed from Super Bowl End Zones by NFL
The league quietly moves away from divisive slogans as Trump prepares to attend the big game.
For the first time since 2021, the NFL will remove the “End Racism” message from the end zones at this year’s Super Bowl, marking a shift away from the divisive slogans introduced during the league’s social justice push.
According to reports, when the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles take the field at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, the end zones will instead feature the phrases “It Takes All of Us” and “Choose Love.”
An NFL spokesperson claimed the change was meant to reflect recent tragedies, including a terrorist attack in New Orleans’ French Quarter on New Year’s Day that left 14 people dead.
Key takeaways from the NFL’s decision:
Super Bowl LIX will not feature the “End Racism” message for the first time in three years.
Trump will become the first sitting U.S. president to attend a Super Bowl, expected to arrive with House Speaker Mike Johnson.
Security will be at its highest level due to recent terror threats and Trump’s attendance.
While the NFL has not directly acknowledged a political shift, the decision comes amid mounting backlash against the league’s embrace of DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) initiatives. Despite dropping “End Racism” from the Super Bowl, Commissioner Roger Goodell insisted the NFL’s DEI policies “aren’t going anywhere.”
This year’s game will be historic as President Trump attends in person, a move that signals a major cultural moment for the sport. The NFL has long pandered to leftist activists, alienating fans with radical messaging and anthem protests. But with Trump’s return to the White House, it appears even the league is being forced to rethink its priorities.
Whether this is a temporary PR move or a larger shift remains to be seen. But one thing is certain: America is moving on from the woke era, and the NFL knows it.
