Netanyahu Delivers Fiery UN Address Defending Israel’s Right to Crush Hamas
In a historic speech, Israel's prime minister called out weak Western leaders, praised Trump’s bold stance, and vowed never to surrender to terrorist pressure.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu didn’t just take the podium at the United Nations he seized the global stage with a thunderous defense of Israel’s right to fight and win against Hamas and its terror allies. In a landmark speech that shattered diplomatic norms, Netanyahu directly confronted world leaders, invoked the horrors of October 7, and made clear: Israel will not apologize for surviving.
Netanyahu opened by listing his military’s recent victories across multiple fronts — from dismantling Hezbollah’s arsenal in Lebanon, to crushing Hamas in Gaza, to delivering a brutal blow to Iran’s nuclear program. He even revealed that half the leadership of the Houthis in Yemen is gone, Yahya Sinwar in Gaza is gone, and Iran’s top nuclear scientists? Also gone.
But the speech wasn’t just about military might. It was about moral clarity in the face of international cowardice. And Netanyahu didn’t hold back.
“Imagine a terror regime sending thousands of terrorists to massacre 40,000 Americans and kidnap 10,000 more. Would the U.S. show restraint? Not a chance,” he thundered. “Israel will do what any self-respecting nation would do: crush its enemies.”
Here are key takeaways from his powerful address:
Unprecedented Messaging to Gaza: Netanyahu’s voice was reportedly streamed live to cell phones in Gaza and broadcast over massive loudspeakers aimed at the Strip. To the hostages still held by Hamas, he declared in both Hebrew and English: “We have not forgotten you, not for a second.”
QR Code of Truth: On his lapel, Netanyahu wore a pin not a flag, but a QR code. When scanned, it showed unfiltered footage from the October 7 massacre, letting the world see for themselves what Israel is fighting against.
Shaming the West’s Appeasement: The prime minister condemned leaders of France, Britain, Canada, and Australia for recognizing a Palestinian state after the October 7 massacre which was celebrated by 90% of Palestinians. “Giving terrorists a state after they burn babies alive is insanity,” Netanyahu declared. “It’s like handing Al Qaeda a state outside Manhattan after 9/11.”
Praising Trump’s Leadership: In contrast, Netanyahu praised former President Donald Trump for standing up to Iran and leading the historic Abraham Accords. He thanked Trump for backing Israel’s military response, including joint U.S.-Israeli operations to neutralize Iran’s nuclear threat.
Netanyahu laid out what Israel has already accomplished and what must still be done:
Over 207 hostages recovered
Two million tons of humanitarian aid delivered to Gaza, while Hamas loots and hoards
Civilian casualty ratios in Gaza below NATO’s own wartime standards (2:1), according to leading urban warfare experts
Widespread use of warnings millions of leaflets and phone calls urging civilians to evacuate before Israeli strikes
And yet, despite Israel’s unprecedented efforts to minimize harm to innocents, Netanyahu said the West continues to buy into Hamas propaganda and slander Israel with false accusations of genocide and starvation.
“No country committing genocide pleads with civilians to evacuate before every military operation. The comparison is obscene.”
Netanyahu also called out the Palestinian Authority often hailed in the West as the “moderate” alternative to Hamas for paying terrorists, glorifying mass murderers, and using the same antisemitic textbooks as Hamas. In Bethlehem, once 80% Christian under Israeli control, Christians now make up less than 20% of the population under PA rule.
“They don’t want a state next to Israel. They want a state instead of Israel. That’s the truth the West refuses to accept.”
The speech wasn’t just a rallying cry for Israel it was a warning to the West. Radical Islamists who chant “Death to America” are the same ones trying to annihilate Israel. Netanyahu reminded the audience of a hard truth: Israel is not just fighting its own war; it’s fighting our war.
In a world where weak leaders bow to media pressure and antisemitic mobs, Netanyahu’s speech was a reminder of what real leadership looks like bold, unapologetic, and grounded in truth. And unlike Biden and the morally bankrupt global elites, Netanyahu made one thing crystal clear:
“Israel won’t bow. We won’t break. We will win.”
If only the so-called leaders of the West had a fraction of that spine.
