Netanyahu Expresses Gratitude to Trump for Anti-Semitism Executive Order

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu publicly thanked President Donald Trump for his latest executive order combating anti-Semitism, a strong response to the surge in anti-Jewish hatred across American universities.

Trump’s executive order, issued Wednesday, strengthens Executive Order 13899, originally signed in December 2019, which ensured that Jewish Americans receive full protection under federal civil rights laws. The new order demands immediate action from the Department of Justice to punish anti-Semitic acts, crack down on pro-Hamas intimidation, and deport non-citizens who engage in anti-Jewish violence.

The timing of this executive order is critical. Since the October 7 Hamas massacre, in which over 1,200 Israelis were slaughtered, American campuses have become breeding grounds for violent anti-Semitism. A 2024 study found that elite universities including Columbia, NYU, UCLA, and UC Berkeley were among the worst offenders, with Jewish students facing threats, harassment, and outright exclusion from campus spaces.

• The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) reported a 477% increase in anti-Israel incidents on U.S. campuses compared to the previous year.

• Jewish students have been denied access to libraries, classrooms, and student spaces while mobs vandalize buildings with Hamas slogans.

• Many universities, run by leftist administrators, refuse to take action, allowing the anti-Semitic mob to thrive.

Trump’s order is a direct rebuke of the Biden administration’s failure to address campus radicals and pro-terror agitators. The order forces all federal agencies to review their civil and criminal enforcement powers against anti-Semitic acts and demands immediate accountability from colleges that allow this hatred to spread.

Netanyahu took to X to personally thank Trump, stating:

“On behalf of Israel and the Jewish people, I thank President @realDonaldTrump for his executive order to fight antisemitism and support for terrorism on American campuses. Thank you, @POTUS, for standing up for truth and justice.”

Unlike the weak and complicit Biden administration, Trump is proving once again that he stands for law, order, and the protection of American Jews.

The left has allowed anti-Semitism to flourish, but Trump is making it clear: Jew-hatred will not be tolerated in the United States.
