Elon Musk Cancels Netflix Over Pro-Trans Cartoon and Creator’s Attacks on Charlie Kirk

Outrage grows as Netflix show targets kids with transgender messaging and its creator allegedly smears Kirk as a “Nazi.”

Elon Musk has joined a growing conservative backlash against Netflix after a disturbing cartoon aimed at young children pushed radical transgender ideology and its creator allegedly celebrated the death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

The cartoon, Dead End: Paranormal Park, once marketed to children as young as seven, features an overweight, blue-haired character “coming out” as transgender in a clip that quickly went viral. Musk responded plainly to the disturbing footage “This is not ok.”

The pushback began when Libs of TikTok flagged the cartoon and exposed the show’s unapologetically political content.

“OMG. 'Dead End Paranormal Park,' a show on Netflix, is pushing pro-transgender on CHILDREN,” the account posted. “This show is advertised for 7-YEAR-OLDS. Parents – BEWARE.”

But things escalated when screenshots surfaced allegedly showing the show’s creator, Hamish Steele who identifies as “he/they/whatever” attacking Charlie Kirk after his death, calling him a “Nazi” and lashing out at UK Labour Party leader Keir Starmer for mourning him.

On the day of Kirk’s death, Starmer posted “My thoughts this evening are with the loved ones of Charlie Kirk. It is heartbreaking... We must all be free to debate openly and freely without fear.”

Steele allegedly responded in a now-deleted tweet “Why the f--- are you even commenting on this, dickhead?... a random Nazi gets shot and it’s a public statement. You’re such a f------ evil s---.”

That wasn’t satire it was pure venom.

Here's what we know:

  • Dead End: Paranormal Park aired from 2021 to 2022 and was rated for viewers as young as 7 years old.

  • The show’s creator has openly promoted LGBTQ+ themes in children’s programming while mocking critics as bigots.

  • Charlie Kirk, co-founder of Turning Point USA, had a massive influence on Gen Z conservatives and was an outspoken critic of gender ideology in schools.

After another user claimed they had canceled their Netflix subscription over the controversy, Musk simply replied “Same.”

Steele has since tried to walk back his statements, denying that he “celebrated” Kirk’s death and claiming Netflix is not actively promoting the show. But the damage was done. Millions of parents are waking up to what’s being quietly inserted into their kids’ entertainment and they’re not staying silent.

Let’s not forget:

  • In 2023, a Pew Research poll found that over 60% of Americans oppose teaching gender identity to elementary school kids.

  • Netflix has been bleeding subscribers for several quarters, losing over 1.2 million users in the U.S. and Canada in 2022 alone due to controversial content choices and growing competition.

The entertainment industry’s obsession with woke ideology even at the expense of children is driving families away in droves. When a kid’s cartoon becomes a vehicle for gender theory and political hatred, it’s not entertainment anymore it’s indoctrination.

The outrage isn’t just about a cartoon. It’s about the growing realization that the institutions parents once trusted from schools to streaming services are being hijacked by far-left activists more interested in pushing identity politics than preserving childhood.

Elon Musk said it best: “This is not ok.” And millions of parents agree.
