Elon Musk Urges NYC Voters to Back Cuomo to Stop Radical Leftist Mamdani

With New York on the brink, Musk warns that voting for Curtis Sliwa may hand the city to a pro-intifada socialist.

With New York City staring down the barrel of an election that could plunge it even deeper into radical chaos, Elon Musk has stepped into the fray and he’s issuing a stark warning to voters. Back Andrew Cuomo or hand the city to a pro-intifada socialist.

“Remember to vote tomorrow in New York! Bear in mind that a vote for Curtis is really a vote for Mumdumi or whatever his name is. VOTE CUOMO!” Musk posted Monday on X.

The blunt message comes as Zohran Mamdani, a Democratic Socialist and anti-Israel radical, maintains a commanding lead in the polls. The RealClear Polling average puts him 14.3 points ahead of Cuomo, with Republican nominee Curtis Sliwa trailing behind both and refusing to budge.

Musk, no stranger to political firestorms, is making a strategic call to action. He knows exactly what’s at stake: the future of America’s largest city, hanging in the balance between failed progressivism, fractured conservatism, and the last vestiges of political sanity.

Who is Zohran Mamdani? The 33-year-old Queens assemblyman has built his campaign around:

  • Aggressive rent control, which even housing experts say will decimate the city’s already crumbling property market.

  • Higher taxes on the wealthy, sure to drive more businesses out of the city.

  • Defunding the NYPD, with promises to reroute public safety funding to social programs.

  • And worst of all, a soft stance on terrorism refusing to condemn the “globalize the intifada” slogan while consistently attacking Israel during wartime.

Mamdani has even proposed allocating $100 million in taxpayer money to provide legal aid for illegal immigrants fighting deportation. That’s not just out of touch it’s dangerous.

So yes, Musk has a point. Whether you like Cuomo or not and many conservatives don’t he is the last remaining bulwark against handing New York City to a Marxist who openly sympathizes with anti-American and anti-Israel rhetoric.

Meanwhile, Curtis Sliwa, who built a brand on law-and-order bravado, has been under intense pressure to drop out and unify the anti-Mamdani vote. Even his longtime ally and radio boss John Catsimatidis has urged him to step aside:

“Curtis has to realize that he should love New York more than anything else… it certainly looks like Curtis should pull out right now.”

But Sliwa won’t move and now the city faces a nightmare scenario: a fractured vote on the Right, and an energized radical Left marching straight into Gracie Mansion.

Early voting numbers are surging, with over 735,000 New Yorkers already casting ballots more than four times the early turnout in 2021. The far-Left is mobilized. The only question is whether common-sense New Yorkers will wake up in time.

Musk isn’t endorsing Cuomo out of love for political dynasties. He’s doing it to stop a city from setting itself on fire and he’s right to sound the alarm.
