Melania Trump Addresses 2024 Election, Claims U.S. Is ‘Suffering’ Under Biden-Harris

In her first interview in two years, Melania Trump reflects on the state of the nation and her husband’s political comeback.

Former First Lady Melania Trump broke her two-year silence in a recent interview with Fox News, expressing grave concerns about the direction of the country under President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. As the 2024 election approaches, Trump made it clear that she believes the nation is "suffering" due to the current administration’s policies.

In her first public interview since leaving the White House, Melania Trump didn’t hold back, criticizing Biden’s handling of key issues like the economy, foreign policy, and border security. “People are not able to buy usual necessities for their families,” she said. “We have wars going on around the world. Soldiers are dying under this administration because of weak leadership. The border is open and dangerous. A lot of fentanyl is coming over, killing our youth. It’s very hard to see.”

Trump pointed to the struggling economy, citing high inflation and the increasing cost of living as signs of the country’s decline. “It’s really not great,” she said. She then contrasted the current state of affairs with the years when her husband, former President Donald Trump, was in office. “If we compare these four years under this administration compared to four years under my husband as commander in chief, he was leading the country through peace through strength. And the border was safer than ever before. We didn’t have any wars.”

Reflecting on Donald Trump’s presidency, Melania highlighted the prosperity that many Americans enjoyed during those years. “People were prospering. They had jobs. They could support their families,” she said, calling on voters to remember the stark differences between the two administrations. “Maybe some strong tweets, but everything else was great for this country,” she added, urging Americans to choose wisely in the 2024 election.

During the interview, Melania also addressed the multiple assassination attempts against her husband, calling them “miracles” that he survived. She referenced the July rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where Donald Trump was injured by a gunshot to the ear, as well as the more recent attempt at his West Palm Beach golf course. “And I think both of the events, they were really miracles. If you really think about it, July 13th was a miracle,” she said, reflecting on how close Trump came to losing his life.

When asked if these near-death experiences had strengthened her faith, Melania responded thoughtfully, “I think something was watching over him… It’s almost like the country really needs him.”

As the 2024 election heats up, Melania Trump’s re-emergence is a sign that she is standing firmly by her husband, who remains the Republican front-runner. Her message is clear: the stakes for the future of the country have never been higher, and voters will have the final say come November 5th.
