Former FBI Director Draws Parallels Between Nashville and Minneapolis Shootings

Andrew McCabe lists the similarities but carefully omits the one detail tying Nashville and Minneapolis tragedies together.

Disgraced former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, now comfortably embedded at CNN, appeared on air Thursday morning to discuss the tragic Catholic school shooting in Minneapolis but his analysis left out one critical fact that nearly every viewer already knew.

In a segment that was supposed to explain the “remarkable similarities” between the Minneapolis shooter and the Nashville Covenant School shooter from 2023, McCabe rattled off a list of comparisons. Both were in their 20s, both targeted religious schools they once attended, both carried three legally obtained weapons, both left manifestos, and both sought to kill children.

But in a glaring and clearly deliberate omission, McCabe never mentioned that both shooters identified as transgender.

Think about that.

Two mass shooters, both biologically male, both identifying as female, both targeting Christian schools, and both driven by violent grievance manifestos yet this detail didn’t make McCabe’s list. Why? Because it doesn’t fit the narrative CNN and the Left want to push.

Instead, the CNN anchor floated the idea that these shootings might simply be “copycat” incidents, like a twisted fandom of prior killers. And McCabe, who was fired in disgrace after misleading investigators during his time at the FBI, eagerly nodded along.

Let’s review what wasn’t left out of McCabe’s comparison:

  • Age? Included.

  • Number of weapons? Included.

  • Method of transportation? Included.

  • Manifesto details? Included.

  • Intent to kill children? Included.

  • Transgender identity? Excluded.

Why does this matter?

Because ignoring the shooters’ identities isn’t journalism it’s political censorship. These weren't just random acts of violence. These were targeted attacks on religious communities by individuals with well-documented ideological grievances. And the fact that both shooters were biological males identifying as female isn’t some footnote it’s part of the motive matrix, the cultural backdrop, and the reason why corporate media won’t touch it.

The Left has gone to incredible lengths to shield the trans movement from any accountability, even when lives are lost. After the Nashville massacre, media coverage pivoted almost immediately to concerns about backlash against the trans community not the six dead Christians, including three small children.

And now it’s happening again in Minneapolis.

If the shooters had been young white conservatives wearing MAGA hats, CNN would be running wall-to-wall coverage, complete with “domestic extremism” panels and congressional hearings. But because these tragedies disrupt their preferred narrative, they downplay, distract, and delete.

It’s not “hate” to acknowledge the truth. It’s not “bigotry” to demand full transparency. The American people deserve to know who is attacking their schools and why not some sanitized version designed to protect ideological allies.
