Marine Le Pen Banned From Running as French Court Silences Political Opposition
The French establishment uses lawfare to block millions from choosing their candidate.

In a blatant display of political suppression that should send chills through every democracy-loving citizen, French right-wing leader Marine Le Pen has been banned from running for president a move she says silences not just her voice, but the will of millions of French people.
Le Pen, who leads the National Rally Party and has been a dominant force in French politics for over a decade, was barred from public office by a French court over allegations tied to the use of $4.9 million in European Parliament funds. The court claims the money, intended for legislative use in the EU, went toward party staff not involved in parliamentary duties.
But Le Pen is calling this what it is a political hit job.
“The magistrate made it very clear that enforcing the temporary sentence barring me from seeking public office rendered my appeal void,” Le Pen said during a televised interview on TF1. “There are millions of French people who are outraged… judges were implementing practices we thought were typical of authoritarian regimes.”
Let that sink in. A nation that claims to be the cradle of democracy is now banning opposition leaders from appearing on the ballot not because the people rejected her, but because the political class did.
This Is Lawfare, Not Justice
Le Pen stated clearly that the court appeared biased from the start, ignoring evidence and explanations provided during trial.
The decision was made before her appeal could even be heard, effectively preempting the democratic process.
Over 40% of French voters backed Le Pen or her party in the last presidential election millions now robbed of their political voice.
This isn’t just a French problem. It’s part of a disturbing global trend weaponizing the courts to silence anti-establishment leaders. We've seen it in Brazil, where Bolsonaro was targeted. We’re seeing it in the U.S., where Trump faces endless politically motivated legal attacks. And now France is using the same playbook: if you can’t beat them at the ballot box, eliminate them in court.
Le Pen isn’t backing down.
“I’m a fighter,” she vowed. “I’ve been fighting injustice for thirty years. And so I’m going to keep doing it. And I will do it all the way.”
Despite the ban, Le Pen says there’s still a narrow legal path she’s pursuing to reverse the decision and run. But make no mistake this is the French elite deciding who the people are allowed to vote for. It’s tyranny masquerading as justice.
The same elites that champion open borders, radical gender policies, and EU control over national sovereignty are now terrified that Le Pen could actually win. So they’re using the courts to stop her and pretending it’s all legal and fair.
This is what the future looks like under globalist rule: elections without choices, courts without neutrality, and opposition without a voice.
