Internet Blasts Kamala Harris After New Video Surfaces

Vice President Kamala Harris found herself at the center of controversy yet again after a Democratic Party video sparked an avalanche of criticism online. The video, posted Tuesday evening, showed Harris addressing supporters in a manner that many social media users described as bizarre and unprofessional, with some even speculating that she appeared inebriated.

In the video, Harris urged her audience to remain steadfast, saying, “Don’t you ever let anybody take your power from you. You have the same power that you did before November 5th… the same ability to engage and inspire.”

Her delivery, however, immediately caught the attention of thousands of users on X (formerly Twitter), many of whom accused the Vice President of being intoxicated.

Prominent commentators didn’t hold back their criticisms:

• Author Bethany S. Mandel remarked, “Wow yeah she’s wasted … She’s got a problem. And Democrats knew it and put her up anyway. Just like they knew that Biden had a problem and covered it up.”

• Trump adviser Tim Murtaugh noted, “Take some time to reflect on the fact that they posted this on purpose.”

• Journalist Jordan Schachtel quipped, “She looks like she just got back from a three-week bender.”

Political commentator Jack Posobiec simply declared, “She’s totally hosed.”

This isn’t the first time Harris has faced public scrutiny over her behavior. Critics have long noted her tendency to deliver confusing statements and awkward laughs during official addresses. However, the speculation surrounding her demeanor in this latest video marks a new level of public skepticism.

Several commenters suggested that the Democratic Party’s decision to post the video may indicate internal disarray or an intentional effort to downplay concerns about Harris. Media analyst Joe Concha pointedly warned, “I’m not sure you guys want to be amplifying this. There’s something, ummmm, off with the vice president.”

The incident raises serious questions about Harris’s fitness for the role, particularly given her position as second in line to the presidency. Critics argue that the administration’s refusal to address public concerns about Harris and President Biden undermines confidence in their leadership.
