Kamala Harris Melts Down Over Trump’s First 100 Days
In a bitter return to politics, Harris unleashes rage at Trump’s success, warns of “constitutional crisis,” and accuses Americans of abandoning democracy.

Kamala Harris reemerged this week with a fury not with solutions, not with vision, but with seething bitterness over the success of President Donald Trump’s first 100 days back in office. In her first public remarks since leaving office, the former vice president delivered a chaotic, often unhinged speech that accused the Trump administration of everything from “abandoning democracy” to detaining people without due process.
The spectacle took place at Emerge’s 20th anniversary gala in San Francisco, a $250-a-ticket echo chamber of Democratic activists. There, Harris unleashed a blistering screed against the Trump administration, warning the country of what she called a “constitutional crisis” because, apparently, governing effectively and keeping campaign promises now qualifies as dangerous.
“Instead of the administration working to advance America's highest ideals, we are witnessing the wholesale abandonment of those ideals,” Harris claimed, accusing Trump of pushing a “self-serving vision of America.”
Translation: she’s mad that Trump is actually doing what voters elected him to do.
Among the most absurd moments of the speech:
Harris accused Trump of being behind the “greatest manmade economic crisis in modern presidential history” despite the fact that inflation, supply chain chaos, and soaring national debt exploded under her watch.
She bizarrely claimed Trump is trying to “slash public education and privatize services” ignoring how bloated, broken, and left-wing dominated those institutions became under her own administration.
And perhaps most outrageously, she objected to the deportation of a known MS-13 gang member, framing it as a violation of due process because nothing says “defending democracy” like shielding violent criminals from justice.
Harris’s remarks were less a call for unity and more a warning that the far left is completely unprepared for a political comeback by Donald Trump. She praised fringe-left figures like AOC and Bernie Sanders for their “moral clarity,” and took time to applaud activist judges and partisan university leaders who are “defying” the current administration.
The real tell came when she described the Trump presidency as a “high-velocity event” driven by an agenda “decades in the making.” She’s right but what she left out is that Trump’s agenda is the result of years of grassroots American frustration with exactly the kind of bloated, elitist, and lawless government Harris represented.
Even Harris’s closing metaphor elephants circling together during an earthquake felt like a warning that the political herd is panicking.
“Things are probably going to get worse before they get better,” she warned. “But we are ready for it.”
Indeed, for Harris and the radical left, things are getting worse because the American people are rejecting their fear-driven narratives and embracing common sense once again.
If this is the best the Democrats have to offer going forward angry tirades, defense of gang members, and recycled fear-mongering Trump’s return to the White House may be just the beginning of their political reckoning.
