Kamala Harris Turns on Biden Over 2024 Disaster
In bombshell memoir, Harris says Biden’s ego-fueled run doomed Democrats and left her to take the fall.

In a stunning betrayal disguised as reflection, former Vice President Kamala Harris unloads on Joe Biden in her upcoming memoir 107 Days, blaming his ego and mismanagement for the Democrats’ humiliating collapse in 2024 and airing deep dysfunction inside the White House in the process.
Excerpts from the book, published Wednesday by The Atlantic, paint a picture of a White House paralyzed by denial, guided by ambition, and ultimately sacrificing Harris’s political future to protect a fading presidency.
“Was it grace, or was it recklessness?” Harris writes, referring to Biden’s decision to run again despite warnings. “In retrospect, I think it was recklessness.”
Harris claims Biden’s re-election bid was driven not by a sense of duty, but by "ego" and "ambition," and that she was powerless to challenge him without appearing disloyal. Ironically, she now admits what many Americans saw all along that Biden’s decision to stay in the race was a selfish gamble with the nation’s future at stake.
But it gets worse.
Harris says Biden’s own staff worked against her, accusing them of fueling negative press and refusing to defend her when conservative media exposed her incompetence.
“They had a huge comms team… but getting anything positive said about my work or any defense against untrue attacks was almost impossible,” she writes. “The president’s staff was adding fuel to negative narratives.”
In other words, the Biden White House wasn’t just dysfunctional it was a circular firing squad, and Kamala Harris was the designated scapegoat.
Her biggest gripe? Being named the so-called “border czar,” a position she now admits was a political trap, even though her total failure to address the crisis became one of the defining embarrassments of the administration.
“None of them grasped that if I did well, he did well,” Harris complains. “That… my visible success as his vice president was vital.”
But Harris did not do well. The border worsened. Her approval ratings collapsed. She flopped on every major assignment. And now she’s looking for someone to blame.
This memoir isn’t courage it’s clean-up. It’s a last-ditch attempt to rewrite the narrative before the Democrats turn the page on both of them.
Let’s be clear:
Harris now admits Biden’s team sidelined her and actively undermined her credibility.
She questions Biden’s decision-making and accuses him of running for reelection out of personal ambition, not national interest.
She paints herself as a victim, even though her incompetence was clear long before the 2024 campaign began.
“As loyal as I am to President Biden, I am more loyal to my country,” she writes.
That might’ve carried weight if it hadn’t come two years too late.
This is what happens when identity politics replaces leadership. Democrats gambled on Kamala Harris because of who she was, not what she could do. And now, she’s throwing her old boss under the bus to save her own future.
President Trump predicted all of this. The infighting, the blame game, the collapse. While the Biden-Harris White House was melting down behind the scenes, Trump was building momentum winning over voters, dominating the GOP, and preparing to lead again.
Now, as Harris takes to the book tour to settle scores and Biden hides from the cameras, one thing is obvious: 2024 didn’t just end the Biden presidency it ended any illusion that Democrats know how to lead.
