Joy Reid ‘Fascist Groundswell’ of Minority Men Backs Trump Due to Gender Threats
As Trump's polling numbers rise, the left continues to push the "fascist" narrative against his growing support base.
Far-left MSNBC host Joy Reid is at it again, claiming that a “fascist groundswell” of minority men is responsible for the surge in support for former President Donald Trump. During a recent episode of The ReidOut, Reid suggested that Trump’s increasing popularity, particularly among Black and Latino voters, is due to these groups being "threatened" by the growing economic power of women.
“Have you noticed how sharply the polls have shifted in Trump’s favor over these last couple weeks?” Reid asked, insinuating that "disinformation" was also causing Democrats to waver. Reid’s remarks come as Trump continues to gain traction in key swing states, with internal polls reportedly showing him leading.
Reid’s narrative frames Trump’s rising popularity as a global trend fueled by men who feel threatened by the changing roles of women in society. She stated that while this "groundswell" is mostly among white men, small pockets of Black and Latino men are joining in a phenomenon she claims is driven by a fear of women’s increasing independence and pursuit of power.
This kind of rhetoric is nothing new from the left, where accusations of "fascism" and hyperbole about the dangers of Trump’s potential return to the White House have been staples of their messaging. Reid even suggested that if Trump wins in 2024, it would lead to a "far-right Supreme Court" that would control the future for generations, painting a dystopian picture of America under Republican leadership.
But what Reid fails to grasp or conveniently ignores is the very real reason for Trump’s growing support among minority men. Under Democratic leadership, especially in the Biden-Harris administration, minority communities have faced worsening economic conditions, rising crime, and a weakening sense of security. The promises of the left have resulted in skyrocketing inflation, reduced job opportunities, and policies that prioritize political correctness over real solutions.
Trump’s message, on the other hand, resonates with these communities because it focuses on tangible outcomes: economic growth, safety, and an America-first agenda. Minority men are turning to Trump not because of some imagined "fascist" movement, but because they see in him a leader who delivers results results they aren’t getting from the Democrats.
In truth, it’s the left’s divisive rhetoric and failed policies that are pushing more voters, including minority men, into Trump’s camp. The polls reflect a growing dissatisfaction with the status quo, not a "disinformation campaign" as Reid would have her viewers believe.
As 2024 draws closer, it’s clear that the left’s fearmongering tactics will only intensify. But the American people of all races and backgrounds are waking up to the failures of this administration. And they’re ready for real change.
