Speaker Johnson Blasts Leaderless Democrats as Radical Fringe Hijacks Party

GOP slams Left’s collapse into Marxist extremism while Trump delivers real results on peace and prosperity.

With the government shutdown dragging on, House Speaker Mike Johnson is torching Democrats for having no leader, no vision, and no plan accusing them of surrendering to radical extremists and jeopardizing the future of the country.

“They don’t have a platform they can run on. They don’t have a policy that is palatable to the American people. They were roundly refuted, of course, in the last election, and they’re wandering in the wilderness.”

He didn't stop there.

“I think it’s the leaders of these radical leftist groups that are leading Chuck Schumer around as if he has a nose ring,” Johnson quipped, mocking the Senate Majority Leader for following rather than leading.

It’s not just rhetorical heat. Republicans say the Democrats’ internal collapse is now fully visible with open socialists and fringe radicals becoming the dominant voices of the party. Meanwhile, President Trump is abroad brokering historic peace in the Middle East, exposing the stark contrast between leadership and lunacy.

House Majority Leader Steve Scalise echoed Johnson’s assessment, pointing the finger at Zohran Mamdani, a Democratic Socialist and NYC mayoral candidate who has not only refused to condemn Hamas’s October 7 attacks but is now being quietly embraced by top Democrats.

“He’s about to become the leader of the party,” said Scalise. “They’re scared to death of him.”

Mamdani, currently under scrutiny for allegedly accepting nearly $13,000 in foreign donations, has become a rallying point for the far-left base. And yet not a single prominent Democrat has denounced his vile rhetoric about Israel or terrorism. Why? Because they know he speaks for their new base.

And it’s not just a political embarrassment it’s a national security risk.

“It’s terribly dangerous for the future of our country to have a rise of actual open Marxists now being elected to office,” Johnson warned. “It’s something we’ve got to confront head on.”

Meanwhile, Senate Democrats are torpedoing budget negotiations objecting to common-sense Republican efforts to rein in healthcare spending and protect Medicaid from further abuse. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, who once supported a continuing resolution, is now kowtowing to radicals who would rather shut down the government than face political heat from the activist Left.

Rep. August Pfluger didn’t mince words either.

“Why are we not doing the right thing? It’s because they’re bowing down to this radical side that has shown an aptitude for violence and a desire for an anarchist mentality,” he said.

Pfluger also criticized Democrats for their silence particularly those with military experience who have refused to stand up against the radical, anti-American direction of their party.

And while Democrats flounder, Trump moves forward.

Pfluger praised President Trump’s leadership on the world stage, especially his recently brokered peace deal in the Middle East, calling it proof that “Trump just keeps on going” while Democrats do nothing but obstruct.

“What a contrast,” Pfluger said. “They’re obstructing every prosperity and security measure for this country, and Trump’s out there solving global conflicts that no one else could touch.”

Despite the noise from the Left, Republicans are staying on mission.

“We’re going to keep fighting,” Scalise said. “And we’re glad President Trump is continuing to do his job even while the Democrats try to block everything he does.”

A critical vote to pass the House-passed resolution to reopen the government is expected Tuesday evening. But whether Democrats can get their act together remains to be seen especially when they have no platform, no leader, and no direction.
