JD Vance Defends His Child After Pro-Ukraine Protesters Harass Toddler

Vice President JD Vance isn’t backing down after pro-Ukraine protesters harassed him and his three-year-old daughter while they were out for a walk.

In a post on X, Vance detailed how demonstrators followed him, shouting political slogans as his young daughter grew visibly anxious.

“Today while walking my 3-year-old daughter, a group of ‘Slava Ukraini’ protesters followed us around and shouted as my daughter grew increasingly anxious and scared,” Vance wrote.

• Vance attempted to reason with the protesters, asking for a respectful conversation in exchange for leaving his child alone.

• While most agreed, Vance made his position clear: targeting a toddler over politics is unacceptable.

• Pro-Ukraine activists have also gathered outside his Cincinnati home and disrupted his family ski trip in Vermont.

The outrage stems from the Trump administration’s efforts to negotiate an end to the Ukraine-Russia war. While President Donald Trump has pushed for peace, some activists remain furious that the U.S. is no longer writing blank checks to Ukraine.

This harassment campaign reveals the growing radicalization of the pro-Ukraine movement. Instead of engaging in real debate, they resort to intimidation even targeting the families of elected officials.
