Israeli Mother Murdered by Palestinian Terrorist on Way to Give Birth

A young Israeli mother of three was murdered in cold blood by a Palestinian terrorist on her way to bring new life into the world.

Tze’ela Gez, 30, a mental health counselor and devoted mother, was traveling with her husband to the hospital to deliver their fourth child when they were ambushed by a terrorist in Samaria (West Bank). The attack left Gez fatally wounded. Doctors were able to deliver her baby by emergency Caesarean section, but the newborn remains in critical condition.

“She really put in an effort. She was always smiling and gave all her strength, always there for others,” her sister, Shaked Force, said.

Gez, who had spent her life helping others heal from trauma, was tragically taken in an act of barbaric terror celebrated by Hamas and radical Palestinian factions.

Let that sink in.

This wasn’t just another casualty in a conflict. This was a young Jewish woman, unarmed and vulnerable, on her way to deliver a child executed for being Israeli. Her husband tried to shield her. Their children now wake up without a mother.

Her friend, Tal Shahar Carmon, recalled the agony of Gez’s husband having to explain her death to their other children:

“He told them that with Mom they traveled to bring the new baby, and on the way a terrorist shot at Mom… they managed to save the baby but not Mom.”

The IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir vowed to hunt down those responsible:

“We will activate all our tools, and we will reach the murderers to bring them to justice.”

And yet, while Israelis mourned this heartbreaking loss, Hamas celebrated. Their response? Applause. Joy. More calls for blood. This is the reality Israel lives with: an enemy that glorifies murder, targets pregnant women, and treats infanticide as resistance.

Knesset member Limor Son Har-Melech, herself a survivor of a similar 2003 terrorist attack that killed her husband while she was pregnant, said it best:

“We are dealing with a cruel enemy… In order to defeat him and to eradicate him we must first know his cruel and murderous nature and his goals.”

This isn’t about land or policy. It’s about hatred and a culture of death, embedded in Palestinian terror networks that are propped up by Western aid and global silence. The Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, once under Mahmoud Abbas’s Fatah party, claimed responsibility for past attacks like the one that nearly killed Har-Melech. These groups are still active still funded, still armed, still protected by international apologists.

Let’s be clear: There is no moral equivalence here. One side seeks peace, family, and the miracle of life. The other side murders a woman in labor and celebrates her death.

Israel’s enemies are not freedom fighters. They are butchers and they’ve made it clear, time and again, that no Israeli is too innocent to kill.

As the world looks on, President Trump’s warning rings truer than ever: peace through strength is the only way to defeat evil. Weakness invites more bloodshed. And the longer the international community indulges Palestinian leadership’s violent extremism, the more innocent families will suffer.
