Israel Approves Full Gaza Occupation Plan If Hamas Refuses Deal

In a move that could reshape the entire Middle East, Israel has officially approved a full-scale military occupation of the Gaza Strip if Hamas fails to strike a deal before President Donald Trump’s upcoming visit to the region. The operation, codenamed “Gideon’s Chariots,” has been hailed as a last-resort push for total victory over Hamas with no retreat, no concessions, and no more illusions about peace with terrorists.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu laid it out plainly:

“We decided on intensified action in Gaza… to move, as [the IDF chief of staff] said, toward the defeat of Hamas.”

According to reports, tens of thousands of IDF reservists are being mobilized in one of the largest call-ups since the war began in October 2023. The mission will not be a raid. It will be an occupation, with reserve forces holding seized territory and the Israeli flag planted deep in what was once Hamas-controlled land.

Israeli officials aren’t mincing words:

• Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said, “Once the operation begins, there will be no withdrawal from land we conquer not for any deal.”

• Culture and Sports Minister Miki Zohar admitted the operation might endanger the remaining 59 hostages but insisted, “There is no other choice but to bring about a decisive outcome.”

• Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi called it a “brave first step toward total victory.”

Let that sink in: Israel is done playing defense. After nearly a year of brutal warfare, deadly rocket barrages, and global pressure to hold back, the Israeli government is preparing to do what should have been done long ago finish the job.

“We will stop being afraid of the word ‘occupation,’” Smotrich declared.

And he’s right. For years, the global elite and international bureaucrats from Brussels to Turtle Bay have coddled Hamas and demonized Israel for daring to defend itself. The result? October 7th, the massacre of 1,200 innocent Israelis, and dozens of hostages still held in hellish conditions.

With humanitarian aid being hijacked by Hamas, and UN agencies acting as silent enablers, Israel halted all aid shipments in March. Any future aid will go only to areas cleared of Hamas control as it should.

Timing is everything. President Trump, who has long supported Israel’s right to crush terrorist groups without apology, is set to visit Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE from May 13 to 16. His presence and the weight he carries in the region may be Hamas’s last chance to back down. But make no mistake Israel isn’t waiting for permission.

“We must destroy Hamas,” said Minister Karhi. “We must hold the territory not raids, but continuous and deep control.”

This is a war not just for Israeli security, but for the future of the civilized world. Either Hamas is destroyed or terror wins.

And if Hamas doesn’t blink, Israel is ready to move. For good.
