Iran Nears Weapons-Grade Uranium as IAEA Issues Alarming Nuclear Report

A chilling new report from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) confirms what many feared Iran is racing toward nuclear weapons capability, and the international community led by a weak Biden administration is doing nothing to stop it.

According to the IAEA, Iran now possesses over 408 kilograms (900 pounds) of uranium enriched up to 60% purity, a level just a short technical step from weapons-grade (90%). That’s a staggering 50% increase since February, when Iran had 274.8 kilograms.

This amount of enriched uranium is enough for several nuclear warheads, a fact confirmed earlier this year by IAEA Director-General Rafael Mariano Grossi. “One thing is true: They have amassed enough nuclear material for several nuclear weapons,” Grossi warned. Iran is now the only non-nuclear-weapon state in the world producing such highly enriched material a fact the IAEA bluntly calls a “serious concern.”

Translation: Iran’s nuclear program isn’t peaceful, and never has been.

In fact, Iran’s behavior has been deeply deceptive for decades. The watchdog report highlights three undeclared nuclear sites Turquzabad, Varamin, and Marivan where inspectors found uranium traces. Iran never acknowledged these as nuclear facilities, yet evidence suggests they were part of a secret nuclear weapons program that dates back to the early 2000s.

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded swiftly and unequivocally “Iran is totally determined to complete its nuclear program. The international community must act now to stop Iran.”

Netanyahu emphasized what has become increasingly clear to all but the willfully blind: “The level of uranium enrichment Iran has reached exists only in countries actively pursuing nuclear weapons and has no civilian justification whatsoever.”

Let’s remember it was Netanyahu who first blew the whistle in 2018 on Iran’s clandestine nuclear warehouse in Turquzabad. At the time, Iran denied it. But just one year later, IAEA inspectors found uranium particles at the exact site.

Iran has been lying. And Washington has been enabling it.

Despite overwhelming evidence, the Biden administration has repeatedly tried to revive Obama’s failed Iran nuclear deal, offering sanctions relief and diplomatic appeasement instead of real consequences. While Biden fumbles diplomacy, Iran marches toward a nuclear arsenal and an emboldened Tehran with nuclear weapons would destabilize not only the Middle East, but the entire world.

It’s a playbook we’ve seen before. North Korea signed a nuclear disarmament deal in 1994, only to walk away and build a nuclear arsenal by 2005. Today, they have ballistic missiles capable of striking the U.S. mainland.

We are watching history repeat itself in real-time only this time with a regime that chants “Death to America” and openly funds terror proxies like Hezbollah and Hamas.

The message from this report is unmistakable: Iran is not stalling. They’re accelerating. And they’re doing it while the world especially the Biden White House looks the other way.
