Iran Cuts Internet As Musk Activates Starlink To Aid Dissidents
As the regime silences its people, Musk steps in to expose the truth and empower Iranian resistance.

In a desperate move to suppress growing dissent, the Iranian regime cut off internet access across the country, aiming to block its citizens from witnessing the full scale of Israel’s devastating military strikes and prevent internal rebellion. But just as Tehran tried to plunge its people into an information blackout, Elon Musk stepped in, activating Starlink to give Iranians a lifeline to the outside world.
Responding to Fox News host Mark Levin, who called on Musk to enable Starlink and help bring down the brutal Islamic Republic, Musk confirmed with a simple but powerful message “The beams are on.”
For years, the Iranian people have suffered under the iron grip of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s regime a dictatorship that has robbed Iranians of their freedoms while dragging the country into endless conflict. Now, with Israel’s military strikes crippling Iran’s nuclear and military infrastructure, dissidents inside and outside the country see a rare opportunity to challenge the regime’s survival.
Leading Iranian voices have spoken out, echoing the same message this war is not Iran’s war, but Khamenei’s.
Faezeh Alavi, Iranian scholar and filmmaker, praised Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's recent statement directed at the Iranian people “Our fight is not with you. Our fight is with the brutal dictatorship that has oppressed you for 46 years.” Alavi added, “Bibi is spot on. We are sharing the same enemy.”
Professor Afshin Ellian minced no words, stating: “Only the deaths of Khamenei, his son Mojtaba, and Pazakhian will shorten the path to victory over the despotic regime… Otherwise, Iranians and Israelis are in for a very long period of suffering.”
Exiled Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi urged the Iranian people to rise up, calling for street protests and national strikes to overthrow the Islamic Republic, slamming Khamenei for dragging the nation into war for his own survival.
Masih Alinejad, a prominent dissident, condemned the regime’s reckless aggression: “The Islamic Republic’s insistence on continuing confrontation with Israel… has no result other than the destruction of our Iran. And what’s even more bitter is that these costs will be paid with the lives of people who have no role or authority in these decision-making.”
As Israel’s military continues to dismantle Iran’s war machine, the cracks inside the Islamic Republic are widening. According to multiple intelligence sources, Iranian leadership has suffered heavy losses in recent weeks, with several top military commanders eliminated. Iran’s failed leadership has not only endangered its own people but has also destabilized the entire region while pursuing nuclear ambitions and funding terror proxies.
Key facts behind the Iranian regime’s growing crisis:
Over 46 years of brutal rule by the Ayatollah’s regime have left Iran isolated, impoverished, and rife with internal opposition.
Iranian military casualties continue to mount as Israel’s air campaign dismantles key strategic assets.
Dissidents are seizing this moment to call for an end to the Islamic Republic and the establishment of a free Iran.
Musk’s bold activation of Starlink may prove to be a pivotal moment in the fight against the regime’s information stranglehold. By restoring communication, Iranians are once again able to organize, speak freely, and expose the atrocities committed by their own government.
While Biden and the Democrats have spent years enabling Tehran through weak diplomacy and disastrous policies like the Obama-era Iran nuclear deal, true leadership is being demonstrated by those willing to confront evil and stand with freedom-seeking people. This is the kind of decisive action America and its allies need more of not empty words from politicians too afraid to confront rogue regimes.
