Ilhan Omar Says Charlie Kirk’s Legacy Belongs in the Dustbin of History
Omar’s vile rhetoric proves the radical Left would rather celebrate death than confront ideas they oppose.

The mask is off. Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), one of the most radical voices in Congress, has doubled down on her disgusting comments about slain conservative Charlie Kirk refusing to back down, apologize, or even show an ounce of basic human decency.
In a Friday appearance on CNN, Omar was asked by host Kaitlan Collins to respond to the firestorm caused by her sharing a grotesque video that blamed Kirk for his own assassination. The video described Kirk as “Dr. Frankenstein,” saying the “monster” he created turned on him an abhorrent attempt to justify cold-blooded murder.
Instead of walking back her words, Omar took it a step further.
“That should be in the dustbin of history,” she said, referring to Kirk’s life and legacy. “I’m not going to sit here and be judged for not wanting to honor any legacy this man has left behind.”
Let that sink in: a sitting member of Congress is not just refusing to condemn political violence she’s actively vilifying its victim.
This is the same Ilhan Omar who:
Has repeatedly trafficked in anti-American, anti-Semitic rhetoric.
Downplayed the 9/11 attacks as “some people did something.”
Now attacks a murdered man for his ideas and influence even after his death.
And this wasn’t a slip of the tongue. She continued the tirade at a public event in a church, saying, “Those of you interested in rewriting this hateful man’s history are full of s**.”*
When CNN gave her a chance to clarify or express regret, she chose hatred again.
This isn’t about Charlie Kirk anymore it’s about the radical Left’s complete loss of moral clarity. Kirk, a 31-year-old conservative firebrand, was gunned down in a targeted political assassination. Instead of condemning violence, Omar and her allies are openly celebrating his death while attacking those who dare to honor his life.
TPUSA spokesman Andrew Kolvet summed it up perfectly. “May you live a life so extraordinary, so courageous, and so true, that your enemies hate you as much as they hated Charlie.”
Even liberal media figures are starting to flinch at Omar’s open embrace of hate. But her Democratic colleagues remain silent proving once again that this is the direction of the party: militant intolerance, cancel culture without boundaries, and no room for dissenting voices.
Conservatives are mocked in life, attacked in death, and blamed when they become targets of violence. That’s the state of discourse under today’s far-Left politics.
Ilhan Omar will absolutely be judged. And history won’t look kindly on those who condoned evil just because it served their ideological crusade.
