IDF and Aid Group Debunk Hamas Lies About Gaza Civilian Deaths
Israel and Gaza Humanitarian Foundation expose false reports from Hamas-run health ministry alleging deadly aid strike.

In a coordinated effort to expose Hamas propaganda, both the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) have refuted widely circulated claims that Israeli troops killed Palestinian civilians during an alleged strike near a Gaza aid center over the weekend.
The allegations pushed by the Hamas-controlled Gaza Health Ministry and amplified by sympathetic media outlets claimed that at least 31 Palestinians were killed and dozens more injured while retrieving food and supplies. But now, both the IDF and the humanitarian group that manages the site have debunked the narrative with facts and footage.
“False reports have been spread in recent hours, including serious allegations against the IDF,” the Israeli military said in a statement. “Findings from an initial inquiry indicate that the IDF did not fire at civilians near or within the humanitarian aid distribution site. Reports to this effect are false.”
The GHF, which operates the aid distribution site, confirmed this, stating plainly “There was no gunfire in the center and also not in the surrounding area. All aid was distributed today without incident.” The group also accused Hamas of deliberately fabricating the report to destabilize ongoing humanitarian operations and incite international outrage.
Video footage released by GHF supports their version of events. One video showed hundreds of Palestinians peacefully approaching the aid center, while another showed tracer fire in the distance nowhere near the location in question.
Once again, Hamas is using falsehoods to manipulate global media, a tactic they've employed repeatedly since the war began. And as always, the usual suspects in the press jumped at the chance to parrot claims from a terrorist-run "health ministry" a department run by the same entity that slaughtered civilians and took hostages on October 7, 2023.
This isn’t just media malpractice it’s information warfare, and the victims are not just Israelis, but the very Palestinian civilians Hamas claims to defend. Every lie undermines legitimate humanitarian aid efforts and puts innocent lives at risk.
The Red Cross, which claimed it received 179 casualties at a Rafah station, has come under intense scrutiny throughout the conflict for its failure to protect the 251 hostages taken by Hamas. Despite being an international watchdog, the Red Cross has failed to gain access to the hostages, provide medical assistance, or even confirm their status a shocking dereliction of duty.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has repeatedly warned that Hamas weaponizes aid, imagery, and international sympathy to cover for its atrocities and this latest manufactured crisis proves his point.
The IDF emphasized its continued coordination with GHF and international partners to ensure aid is delivered to civilians not Hamas fighters. But it also warned media outlets to stop relying on Hamas propaganda:
“The IDF calls on the media to be cautious with information published by the Hamas terrorist organization, as proven in many previous incidents.”
Truth, not terror, must guide the international response to Gaza. And the world must stop giving oxygen to Hamas's lies.
