ICE Cracks Down on Over 100 Venezuelan Gang Members in Aurora, Colorado Raid
Local Democrats refuse to act, forcing federal agents to step in.

Federal agents conducted a massive raid in Aurora, Colorado, targeting more than 100 members of the violent Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua (TdA). This operation, spearheaded by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), comes amid growing concerns that Democratic leaders are refusing to address the influx of dangerous criminals crossing the border.
The raid involved multiple federal agencies, including the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and the FBI. Agents went door-to-door at an apartment complex where gang members were reportedly operating, questioning residents and searching for suspects. While ICE has not yet disclosed the number of arrests, the agency confirmed that the operation is ongoing.
Tren de Aragua, originally from Venezuela, is one of the fastest-growing criminal organizations in the U.S., engaging in drug trafficking, extortion, and violent crimes.
Aurora officials have been warning about the gang’s presence for months, but Colorado’s Democratic leadership has dismissed the concerns as fear-mongering.
Last August, Aurora City Councilwoman Danielle Jurinsky exposed TdA’s takeover of local apartment complexes, but Democratic Gov. Jared Polis called it a “purported invasion” and ignored the issue.
Acting ICE Director Caleb Vitello made it clear that this raid was necessary because local authorities refuse to cooperate with federal immigration enforcement.
“Unfortunately, we have to come to the communities because we don’t get the cooperation we need from the jails,” Vitello said. “It would be so much easier and so much safer for our officers and agents if we could take these people into custody from a safe environment.”
Democrat-run cities and states, obsessed with their "sanctuary" policies, have tied the hands of law enforcement, allowing violent criminals to walk free rather than being deported. Now, ICE agents are forced to track them down in residential neighborhoods, putting law-abiding citizens at risk.
Since being sworn into office on January 20, President Donald Trump has dramatically escalated the crackdown on violent illegal immigrants. Last month, DEA agents arrested nearly 50 members and associates of TdA at a makeshift nightclub in Aurora, seizing drugs, weapons, and cash. This latest raid proves the administration’s commitment to eradicating these criminal networks that flourished under Biden’s failed policies.
Democrats can pretend there’s no crisis, but the reality is clear: the flood of violent criminals into American cities is a direct result of their open-border policies. The Trump administration is taking action, but how many more communities have to suffer before Democrats admit they were wrong?
