ICE Arrests Illegal Immigrant With 39 Arrests and 8 Felony Convictions

While Senate Democrats continue to block common-sense border enforcement, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is doing the job they refuse to: keeping America safe.

On Tuesday, ICE agents arrested Marcelin Charles Gbey Gouley, an illegal immigrant from the Ivory Coast with a jaw-dropping 39 previous arrests and eight felony convictions, according to the Department of Homeland Security. Gouley’s record includes convictions for cocaine trafficking, drug manufacturing, and distribution across Florida, Maryland, and Virginia.

This arrest came the very same day Senate Democrats voted for the 14th time to prevent the reopening of the federal government, obstructing further resources and reforms that would empower agencies like ICE.

Assistant DHS Secretary Tricia McLaughlin made the administration's position clear:

“ICE is on a mission to remove criminal illegal aliens from terrorizing American communities and fulfilling President Trump’s promise to make America safe again.”

And Gouley wasn’t alone. ICE also detained several other violent criminals in Tuesday’s sweep:

• Juan Pablo Martinez-Herrera (Mexico): Convicted of lewd acts with a child under 14 with force – Los Angeles, CA

• Jose Luis Tomalo-Viracucha (Ecuador): Convicted of attempted assault and aggravated sexual abuse – Monticello, NY

• Adrian Perez-Vallejo (Mexico): Convicted of aggravated kidnapping – Smith County, TX

• Javier Sanchez (Mexico): Convicted of carjacking and grand theft auto – Los Angeles, CA

This is the reality the open-borders left refuses to acknowledge: America is being infiltrated by violent criminals, many of whom should have never stepped foot in this country in the first place.

ICE agents are risking their lives to clean up the mess left behind by decades of failed immigration policy and Democrat obstruction. In fact, McLaughlin noted that ICE officers continue their work despite an 8,000% increase in death threats a staggering figure that underscores just how dangerous the job has become.

President Trump, in a recent interview, doubled down on the mission. “You have to get the people out... Many of them are murderers. Many of them are people that were thrown out of their countries because they were, you know, criminals.”

The facts back him up. The Trump administration is on pace to deport 600,000 illegal aliens by the end of his first term and since his election, 1.6 million have self-deported, a sign that the tide is turning.

Meanwhile, Democrats in Washington continue to prioritize politics over public safety. They block funding. They tie ICE's hands. They protect sanctuary cities. And they sit back while American communities pay the price.

We don’t need more speeches or hashtags we need enforcement, and we need leadership that puts American lives first.
