Hunter Biden Says Trump Isn’t Hitler, Then Calls Him Idi Amin

Embattled first son doubles down on unhinged rhetoric while ignoring his own family's scandals.

In yet another bizarre and tone-deaf media appearance, Hunter Biden admitted President Donald Trump isn’t Hitler only to claim he’s worse in other ways. The embattled son of former President Joe Biden appeared on the "Wide Awake Podcast" this week, where he launched into a rambling comparison between Trump and two of history’s most brutal dictators: Adolf Hitler and Idi Amin.

“I’m not saying there is a Holocaust, and by the way, I’m not saying that Donald Trump is Hitler. Because Hitler had an ideology. And he had a grand plan,” Biden said, before pivoting: “Donald Trump is purely corrupt.”

He went further: “Donald Trump is a narcissistic sociopath who only cares about one thing Donald Trump. He is a clown in that respect, and more like Idi Amin than anything.”

It’s hard to overstate the delusion in these statements. Hunter Biden a man under criminal investigation, with documented foreign business deals linked to his father’s influence is lecturing the nation on political corruption.

The same Hunter Biden who:

  • Profited off shady overseas business ties while his father was Vice President, including deals in China and Ukraine confirmed by bank records and whistleblower testimony.

  • Dodged responsibility for tax evasion and illegal gun possession until legal pressure finally forced indictments.

  • Continues to enjoy protection from a media class more interested in Trump's tax returns than Hunter’s laptop.

And yet, there he was, ranting about Trump family earnings with barely disguised envy: “Has anyone noticed how much the Trump family has made while he’s been president? A reported $1.8 billion.” He failed to mention that Trump donated every penny of his presidential salary something no Biden has ever done and his net worth dropped by over $700 million while in office.

If anything, Hunter’s meltdown highlights just how desperate the Biden camp has become. They can’t run on policy. They can’t run on Joe Biden’s record. And they certainly can’t run on moral high ground not with Hunter Biden as the face of the family brand.

So instead, it’s the same tired playbook: smear Trump, invoke Hitler, scream “white nationalism,” and hope voters don’t notice who’s actually profiting from American politics.

Here’s the truth: Donald Trump built a billion-dollar business, served his country, and took personal financial losses to do so. Meanwhile, Hunter Biden cashed in on his last name, and when the spotlight got too hot, he lashed out with unhinged comparisons and political deflection.

Hunter says Trump is no Hitler. For once, he’s right. But calling him Idi Amin is just more of the left’s unglued rhetoric from a man who should be answering questions, not dodging them with insults.
