Houthis Fire Missile at Israel After Trump’s Airstrikes Cripple Terror Infrastructure

Iran-backed terrorists escalate attacks, but Trump responds with force while Israel eliminates senior Hamas leaders.

The Iranian-backed Houthi terrorists just escalated their aggression once again this time, by launching a missile at southern Israel. Thankfully, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) intercepted the missile before it could enter Israeli airspace, preventing catastrophe in key areas like Beersheva and Dimona, the site of Israel’s nuclear reactor.

This attack wasn’t random. It comes in direct response to President Trump’s decisive airstrikes targeting Houthi infrastructure in Yemen. Trump made it clear: these strikes are retaliation for the Houthis’ relentless piracy, terrorism, and attacks on American and allied ships, aircraft, and drones in international waters.

“The Houthis have waged an unrelenting campaign of piracy, violence, and terrorism,” Trump stated. He’s not wrong their missile launches and maritime attacks have endangered countless lives and global shipping routes. Trump’s strikes have already been ongoing for several days, with warnings that they will intensify if the Houthis continue their provocations.

But that's not all. On another front, Israel has resumed its own heavy offensive in Gaza, after Hamas once again rejected ceasefire proposals and refused to release the remaining 59 hostages still in captivity.

The IDF's latest air campaign is the most extensive since January 17, taking out high-value Hamas targets with precision. Among those eliminated:

  • Issam al-Da’alis, Hamas’s political Gazan prime minister

  • Bahjat Abu Sultan, operational chief of Hamas’s internal security

  • Mahmoud Abu Watfa, director-general of Hamas’s Interior Ministry

  • Ahmed Omar al-Hatta, Hamas justice minister

These are not just minor operatives these are the top brass who’ve orchestrated chaos and terror for years.

While the Biden administration spent months dithering with weak diplomacy and half-measures, President Trump has wasted no time reasserting American strength and defending our allies. Whether it's the Houthis firing missiles or Hamas refusing peace, Trump’s clear message is that terrorism will be met with force, not appeasement.

It’s simple: peace is achieved through strength.
