Houthi Missile Strikes Near Israel’s Largest Airport as Iran Pulls the Strings
While missiles rain down on civilians, it’s not Yemen calling the shots it’s Tehran fueling terror across the Middle East.

Early Sunday morning, a missile launched from Yemen’s Houthi rebels exploded dangerously close to Ben Gurion Airport, Israel’s largest international hub, where hundreds of civilians were preparing to flee a region under fire. While Israel’s defense systems scrambled to intercept the threat, three people were injured, and dozens of international flights were canceled or suspended.
But let’s be honest: the real threat isn’t Yemen it’s Iran.
This marks the fourth missile attack on Israel in just 48 hours from the Houthis, a brutal proxy force backed, armed, and trained by the regime in Tehran. While Western leaders issue tepid condemnations and offer vague calls for “de-escalation,” Iran continues to pour advanced weapons and training into terrorist militias across the Middle East.
“The Houthis could not operate at this level without Iranian arms, training and intelligence,” said Dr. Elisabeth Kendall of Cambridge University.
She’s right. Iran’s fingerprints are all over these attacks:
According to Reuters, the IRGC (Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) has provided Houthis with precision-strike ballistic missiles, anti-ship cruise missiles, and advanced drones.
A senior Iranian insider admitted that Houthi militants were trained just last month at an IRGC base in central Iran.
The BBC confirmed that Iran has violated UN arms embargoes by smuggling weapons directly into Yemen to fuel Houthi aggression.
This isn’t just a regional flare-up. It’s a coordinated campaign of terror directed by Iran, with global implications. Ben Gurion Airport isn’t a military target it’s a civilian hub. 422 international flights were scheduled to depart Sunday, many of them carrying families, tourists, and foreign nationals. Now the skies are shut down, and travelers are trapped, thanks to Iran’s growing influence and Biden’s silence.
Since President Trump’s administration, Israel had held back from striking directly at the Houthis, heeding calls for restraint. But after this latest escalation, Israeli officials are reportedly reevaluating that policy. And they should.
Enough is enough.
Under the Biden administration, Iran has grown bolder than ever thanks to loosened sanctions, weak diplomacy, and billions of dollars in unfreezed assets. Tehran is using that money to arm its terrorist network, not to help its people. Whether it’s Hezbollah in Lebanon, militias in Iraq and Syria, or the Houthis in Yemen, Iran is the common denominator in nearly every modern-day threat to Middle Eastern stability.
Let’s not forget: just like Hamas on October 7, the Houthis are emboldened by American weakness and the global Left’s moral confusion. They know they can act with impunity, because the White House is more interested in appeasing Tehran than defending our allies or deterring terror.
This missile attack should serve as a final warning the time for restraint is over. Israel and the free world must hold Iran accountable for its proxy war against Western civilization.
