Tom Homan Fires Back After AOC Dares Him to Prosecute Her
Trump’s border czar warns AOC may be violating federal law by advising illegal immigrants how to evade ICE.

Former Trump administration border czar Tom Homan delivered a scathing response to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) after the far-Left congresswoman dared him to prosecute her for advising illegal immigrants on how to avoid U.S. immigration enforcement.
“Come for me,” AOC said during a town hall, claiming she was simply exercising her “free speech rights” by instructing illegal immigrants how to defy law enforcement.
Homan didn’t mince words Tuesday night on Fox News, making clear that AOC’s actions may have crossed into criminal territory.
“She’s educating the worst of the worst on how to evade law enforcement,” Homan said. “But the tables have now turned she’s educating people how to get prosecuted.”
The former ICE director pointed directly to federal law, citing Title 8, USC 1253, which makes it a crime to hinder removal proceedings ordered by a federal immigration judge. That includes advising or instructing individuals to ignore lawful detention or deportation orders.
“You can’t hinder your own removal that was ordered by the federal judge,” Homan added. “I would like AOC to read Title 8, USC 1253, because it’s starting tomorrow.”
This isn’t the first time the two have sparred. Ocasio-Cortez, who has repeatedly defended open border policies and sanctuary cities, previously made the laughable claim that illegally entering the United States isn’t a crime a claim easily refuted by federal statute.
The congresswoman doubled down in a March interview with NPR, admitting she gave advice to illegal immigrants on how to sidestep ICE agents. She attempted to justify it under the guise of constitutional protections, saying, “I was informing all of my constituents of their constitutional protections against illegal search and seizure.”
Yet when asked directly whether she gave this advice to individuals actively violating U.S. immigration laws, she didn’t deny it.
“I was giving advice to all of my constituents, yeah,” she said.
Let’s be clear: no one is above the law, not even a grandstanding congresswoman from New York. Advising foreign nationals on how to dodge federal enforcement actions isn’t “free speech” it’s obstruction.
And Homan made it crystal clear he’s not backing down.
“I take pleasure I can live in her mind rent-free every day,” Homan said. “We all know exactly what she’s doing.”
While AOC panders to activist mobs and illegal immigrants, Trump’s team is preparing to enforce the law with or without her permission.
Border enforcement is back and the days of political cover for lawbreaking are numbered.
