Hillary Clinton Approved Russia Hoax to Distract from Email Scandal

The truth is finally out and it’s far worse than most imagined. Newly declassified intelligence documents released by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) confirm what millions of Americans have long suspected Hillary Clinton personally greenlit a plan to frame Donald Trump with false Russia collusion claims in order to distract the public from her own illegal email scandal during the 2016 election.

The files, obtained by Special Counsel John Durham during his years-long investigation, contain explosive memos detailing confidential communications between top Democrat officials and operatives at George Soros’s Open Society Foundations.

According to the documents:

• Clinton approved a plan from her foreign policy advisor, Julianne Smith, to launch a disinformation campaign painting Trump as a puppet of Russian intelligence.

• A July 27, 2016 email from Open Society’s Leonard Bernardo stated “HRC approved Julia’s idea about Trump and Russian hackers hampering U.S. elections. That should distract people from her own missing email…”

• The email also revealed the Clinton camp would rely on Crowdstrike and ThreatConnect, private contractors with ties to U.S. intelligence, to manufacture media-friendly narratives.

• The goal was to “equate” Putin’s alleged support for Trump with a full-blown election hacking crisis, and use the FBI’s influence to inject the story into the news cycle.

This wasn’t some fringe campaign tactic. It was an orchestrated political fraud on a scale never before seen in American politics with tentacles reaching into federal agencies, intelligence operatives, media outlets, and the Obama White House itself.

Even more chilling, Durham’s annex confirms that the FBI knew the origins of the Russia hoax, and did nothing to stop it. Instead, they used Clinton’s disinformation campaign as a launchpad for the Steele Dossier, surveillance of Trump officials, and years of political warfare.

As Durham stated “Smith was, at minimum, playing a role in the Clinton campaign’s efforts to tie Trump to Russia.”

Let’s not forget who Julianne Smith is now Biden’s ambassador to NATO. This is the same elite class still trying to gaslight the public while blaming Trump for “disinformation.”

For years, the media breathlessly parroted the Russia collusion lie, stalling Trump’s agenda, poisoning public trust, and wasting taxpayer dollars on sham investigations. And yet, as Durham’s report and these documents prove, it was Hillary Clinton who launched the conspiracy all along and she did it to cover up her own federal crimes.

Senator Grassley nailed it “The Obama FBI failed to adequately review and investigate intelligence reports showing the Clinton campaign may have been ginning up the fake Trump-Russia narrative for Clinton’s political gain.”

This wasn’t just political dirty tricks it was the weaponization of government against a sitting president.

FBI Director Kash Patel called it one of the most “shameful frauds ever perpetrated on the American public.” He’s absolutely right. And the fact that no one has been held criminally accountable yet is a testament to just how deep the corruption runs.

The American people deserve justice. And in 2025, with Donald Trump back in the Oval Office, that day may finally come.
