Hamas Victims Sue DC Billionaire Over Alleged Support for October 7 Massacre
Lawsuit accuses Bashar Masri of secretly helping fund and facilitate Hamas terror operations in Gaza.

In a chilling development, American victims of the October 7 Hamas massacre that left over 1,200 dead in Israel have filed a lawsuit against Bashar Masri a Washington, D.C.-based billionaire alleging he directly enabled Hamas’s terror infrastructure under the guise of peace-building and business development.
This isn’t just another case of financial entanglement in the Middle East. Masri is accused of playing a central role in supporting and funding Hamas’s terrorist activities, using his network of companies to mask the construction and maintenance of attack tunnels, command centers, and rocket launch sites. The same man who reportedly advised Trump- era hostage negotiator Adam Boehler is now facing serious legal fire for his alleged covert partnership with a U.S.-designated terrorist group.
According to the federal lawsuit:
Masri’s firms PADICO, PRICO, PIEDCO, and Massar International allegedly owned and developed key properties in Gaza that housed and supported Hamas operations.
These properties were used to conceal rocket arsenals, house terror leadership, and even build access tunnels directly into hotel rooms.
In 2014, the Al Mashtal Hotel run by Masri's enterprises allegedly hosted Hamas tunnels and a command center, later bombed by the IDF during conflict.
Even more disturbing, the suit claims that Masri renovated these facilities afterward, enhancing electrical systems that powered Hamas's subterranean networks. Just prior to the October 7 attack, he allegedly appointed a Hamas-linked individual as chairman of one of his companies.
All of this paints a picture not of a "peace entrepreneur" but of a billionaire wolf in sheep’s clothing leveraging his U.S. residence and business image to bankroll death and destruction abroad.
Meanwhile, former Trump envoy Adam Boehler is catching heat for his naïve or negligent diplomacy. In March, Boehler openly negotiated with Hamas, referring to its members as “nice guys” and musing about their potential political future in Gaza. It’s baffling how any U.S. official former or current could entertain the fantasy that Hamas, whose charter explicitly calls for the destruction of Israel, would ever voluntarily disarm.
Let’s be clear: Hamas is not a misunderstood political movement. It’s a terror organization that murders civilians, indoctrinates children, and uses international aid to dig tunnels and launch rockets. And if the allegations against Masri hold up, it means someone right in our nation’s capital was helping them do it.
Here’s the real kicker: while the Biden administration is too busy appeasing Iran and handing out billions in foreign aid with little accountability, Americans are left picking up the pieces and now, taking matters into their own hands through the courts.
According to the IDF, Hamas has built over 300 miles of tunnels under Gaza more than the entire New York City subway system.
Since 2007, Hamas has received an estimated $1.5 billion in aid annually, much of it siphoned from humanitarian sources and reallocated for terror.
In 2023 alone, Hamas fired more than 5,000 rockets at Israel during its brutal October attack, many launched from residential and commercial properties.
It’s long past time to shine a light on the foreign operatives and domestic enablers funding terrorism. Americans deserve better than billionaires who moonlight as terror financiers while living comfortably in our cities.
