Hamas Condemns Trump’s Proposal for U.S. Control of Gaza as a ‘Crime Against Humanity’

Hamas, the terrorist organization responsible for the brutal October 7 attacks on Israeli civilians, has responded with outrage to President Donald Trump’s proposal for the United States to take control of Gaza and rebuild it into a thriving economic hub.

A Hamas official, speaking to Fox News, called Trump’s plan a “crime against humanity” and accused him of interfering in affairs that are “not his concern.”

During a press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump outlined a bold plan to stabilize the war-torn region:

• The U.S. would take control of Gaza to clear out unexploded bombs and debris.

• The area would be rebuilt into a thriving economic development zone, providing jobs and housing.

• The region could become the “Riviera of the Middle East”, attracting international investment.

"You can’t live in Gaza right now," Trump stated. "It’s all death. This has been happening for years. It’s time for a new approach."

Netanyahu supported the idea, calling it “something that could change history.”

Hamas, which has ruled Gaza with an iron fist for nearly two decades, immediately rejected Trump’s proposal. Instead of supporting a plan that could lift Palestinians out of poverty and end the cycle of war, Hamas doubled down on its radical agenda.

• The terror group demanded that all Palestinians stay in Gaza, even as it remains in ruins.

• It warned that any attempts to relocate civilians would lead to “regional instability.”

• Hamas insisted on rebuilding Gaza under its rule, despite decades of mismanagement, corruption, and violence.

Hamas doesn’t want peace it wants power. The group would rather keep Palestinians trapped in a perpetual warzone than allow the U.S. to step in and create a future of stability and prosperity.

While the Biden administration spent years appeasing Hamas and allowing chaos to fester, Trump is offering a real solution. His plan puts security, economic growth, and long-term stability ahead of failed appeasement policies that have only empowered terrorists.

But Hamas, as always, refuses to let go of its obsession with war and destruction.

The real question is: Will the world stand by Hamas, or will it finally choose a path toward peace?
