Greta Thunberg Caught Faking Handcuffs After Israeli Deportation

Greta Thunberg is at it again. After her failed stunt attempting to reach Gaza by boat a mission swiftly blocked by Israeli authorities the 22-year-old climate activist returned to Europe and wasted no time staging yet another phony media moment.

When Thunberg landed in France, police escorted her with arms calmly at her sides. But as soon as cameras appeared, she suddenly placed her arms behind her back, mimicking a handcuffed position to imply she had been restrained. There were no actual cuffs, no resistance, just pure performance.

This isn’t the first time Thunberg has tried to turn herself into a victim for the cameras. She’s taken a page straight out of the leftist playbook, following the example of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Back in July 2022, AOC pretended to be handcuffed while being led away from a pro-abortion protest at the Supreme Court. For a few steps, she theatrically crossed her wrists behind her back before dramatically raising her fist to the crowd clearly unrestrained.

Thunberg's fake handcuff stunt follows a long line of similar episodes:

• In January 2023, at a German coal mine protest, Thunberg was accused of staging her detention. Videos captured her laughing and chatting with officers and fellow activists before snapping into a serious expression when photographers closed in.

• Police at the scene denied any staging, but footage showed officers standing casually as photographers swarmed Thunberg, exposing the manufactured nature of the event.

• The Aachen police insisted, “There was no staging. The police officers were definitely not posing.” Yet the synchronized media spectacle told a different story.

The radical left thrives on these moments of artificial victimhood. Instead of debating facts or policies, activists like Thunberg rely on staged drama to manipulate public perception and gain sympathy. It’s a tired strategy used to distract from the emptiness of their arguments.

While Thunberg was busy faking handcuffs, real crises continue to mount across the globe. Inflation remains stubbornly high, illegal border crossings reached over 2.4 million in 2023, and American families are struggling under the weight of Biden’s failing economy. Meanwhile, Democrats and their media allies would rather promote these staged moments than confront the disasters their policies have created.

As 2024 approaches, voters should remember these empty stunts. The left doesn’t want solutions they want headlines. The only real solution is restoring strong, honest leadership that doesn’t resort to phony theatrics.
