Marjorie Taylor Greene Blasts FDA Approval of New Moderna COVID Vaccine

Georgia congresswoman calls mNEXSPIKE green light “unreal,” says move betrays health freedom and MAHA principles.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) didn’t hold back after the FDA gave its stamp of approval to Moderna’s new mNEXSPIKE COVID-19 vaccine, calling the move “unreal” and saying it goes directly against efforts to “Make America Healthy Again.”

“Not MAHA at all!!!” Greene wrote on X, referencing the popular phrase she coined to emphasize health freedom, personal choice, and government transparency. Her post came shortly after the FDA authorized the new shot for individuals 65 and older, or those aged 12–64 with one or more high-risk conditions.

The FDA’s letter to Moderna indicated the vaccine’s approval was for individuals who were already vaccinated with a prior COVID-19 vaccine continuing a trend of endless booster rollouts, long after public trust has cratered.

Moderna CEO Stéphane Bancel, in a press release, justified the move by citing 47,000 COVID-related deaths in 2023, despite widespread vaccine coverage and previous mass mandates. The company doubled down on its mRNA technology, calling itself a “leader in the creation of the field of mRNA medicine.”

But critics like Greene argue that’s exactly the problem.

“COVID-19 vaccines should have never received approval,” Greene warned in March. “They’ve known the entire time how bad the side effects are and deaths caused by them. It’s time to do the right thing. Stop the COVID-19 vaccines.”

She’s not alone. A growing number of Americans including healthcare workers, military veterans, and parents have questioned the necessity, efficacy, and safety of continued COVID vaccine approvals. According to a 2024 Pew Research poll, only 27% of Americans support additional booster shots, and nearly half of adults under 40 say they don’t trust the CDC’s vaccine guidance.

Meanwhile, the Biden administration continues to push the pharma-driven narrative, ignoring grassroots outrage and a clear public shift toward natural immunity, early treatment options, and medical choice. And now, the FDA appears more aligned with Moderna’s bottom line than with American skepticism.

Greene, now in her third term in Congress, has been a consistent voice for health autonomy, transparency, and accountability. She’s called for full investigations into the approval process, side effect suppression, and the influence of Big Pharma in Washington.

The American people are tired of being treated like lab rats in a revolving door of boosters, mandates, and half-truths. Greene’s message is clear: MAHA means putting citizens, not corporations, at the center of health policy.
