Senator Graham Warns U.S. Faces Imminent Risk of Another 9/11

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) issued a dire warning over the weekend, stating that the U.S. is “living on borrowed time” before another 9/11-style attack occurs. His remarks, made during an interview on Fox News, reflect the increasing alarm voiced by national security experts over the state of global affairs under the Biden-Harris administration. According to Graham, the current leadership has significantly weakened America’s standing in the world, leaving the country vulnerable to devastating terrorist attacks.

“We had Iran in a box,” Graham said, criticizing the Biden administration’s reversal of former President Trump’s hardline policies. “One of the first things Biden did was let them get back in the oil business,” he noted, explaining how Iran’s oil production skyrocketed from 300,000 barrels per day under Trump to 1.3 million barrels today. That surge in revenue has allowed Iran to funnel money into terrorist organizations like Hamas and Hezbollah, while edging ever closer to developing nuclear weapons.

Graham also pointed to Vice President Kamala Harris’s involvement, calling out her role in the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal and accusing her of contributing to the chaos now engulfing the world. “Harris’s fingerprints are all over this,” he said, noting that she was “the last person in the room” when the withdrawal decision was made.

In addition to the domestic terror threat, Graham expressed grave concerns over Iran’s nuclear ambitions. Recent intelligence leaks confirm that Iran has resumed work on its nuclear weapons program, prompting fears that Israel may be forced to take military action. “If the Ayatollah, who’s a religious Nazi, had a nuclear weapon, he would use it,” Graham said.

Graham concluded by offering a stark prediction: “If we do not change course, Iran is going to have a nuclear weapon. There’s going to be a 9/11 attack on our country, and if we don’t watch it, Putin is going to keep marching to Europe.”
