Graham Aligns With Trump, Labels Democrats as 'The Enemy From Within'

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) backed up former President Donald Trump’s assertion over the weekend that the Democrat Party represents an “enemy from within.” Appearing on NBC’s Meet the Press, Graham didn’t hold back, calling the Democrats’ agenda dangerous and fundamentally un-American.

Graham’s comments came after Trump’s recent fiery speech in which he slammed Democrats like Nancy Pelosi, accusing them of pushing a destructive agenda. “We have China, we have Russia… but the more difficult are, you know, the Pelosis. These people, they’re so sick and they’re so evil,” Trump said, warning of the threat posed by their domestic policies.

Graham agreed, saying Democrats’ proposals could lead to an irreversible transformation of the country:

• Packing the Supreme Court: Graham pointed out that Democrats want to expand the Court to 13 justices, undermining the judicial branch’s independence.

• Abolishing the Electoral College: He warned that eliminating this foundational system would weaken the voice of smaller states and fundamentally change the way presidential elections are decided.

• New Statehoods: Democrats are pushing for D.C. and Puerto Rico statehood, which Graham says is a blatant attempt to manipulate the balance of power in Congress.

Graham emphasized that this radical agenda isn’t just political rhetoric but a real threat to the nation's core principles. “They want to turn the U.S. upside down,” he said. But he made it clear that Republicans are prepared to fight back. “We’re going to stop it at the ballot box,” Graham vowed, calling on voters to recognize what’s at stake in the next election.

While Trump’s blunt language often stirs controversy, Graham reminded viewers that Trump has faced unprecedented personal threats during his time in office, alluding to assassination attempts that were largely ignored by the mainstream media. “There’s one candidate in this race who’s been shot at… we’re lucky they didn’t blow his head off,” Graham remarked.

As Election Day nears, the stakes couldn’t be higher. Republicans are making it clear that 2024 will be a referendum on whether America remains true to its founding values or adopts the radical policies of today’s Democrat Party.
