Republicans Introduce Bill to Deport Sharia-Adherent Foreign Nationals
Is America prepared to stop the creeping influence of an ideology that undermines our Constitution?

Rep. Chip Roy of Texas is leading a bold move in Congress to stop what he and many conservatives see as a growing internal threat to America’s core values the spread of Sharia law. Backed by a coalition of Republican lawmakers, Roy introduced legislation that would bar any foreign national who adheres to Sharia law from entering the United States and would deport those already in the country.
“America is facing an existential threat the spread of Sharia Law,” Roy stated in a press release, emphasizing that the values inherent in Sharia are fundamentally incompatible with our Constitution. “Europe should be a wakeup call,” he warned, pointing to the social unraveling in places like France and the UK where parallel legal systems have taken root and eroded Western norms.
The proposed bill is as direct as it is firm:
It mandates the denial of any immigration benefit or visa to individuals who adhere to Sharia law.
It allows for the revocation of existing immigration status for those already in the U.S. who are found to be adherents.
It enforces removal proceedings for individuals who lie about their adherence to Sharia under federal jurisdiction.
Co-sponsors include Representatives Randy Fine (FL), Tim Burchett (TN), Keith Self (TX), Barry Moore (AL), Mary Miller (IL), Scott Perry (PA), Sheri Biggs (SC), Lauren Boebert (CO), Josh Brecheen (OK), and Andrew Clyde (GA). This growing coalition signals that the Republican Party is taking seriously the ideological war being waged against American principles from within.
Roy, currently running for Texas Attorney General, isn't mincing words. He sees the encroachment of Sharia influence not just as a policy failure, but as a direct assault on the very structure of American law one that elevates individual rights, protects women and minorities, and refuses to tolerate religious legal systems that promote violence or subjugation.
And he’s not wrong to sound the alarm. Across Europe, the consequences of unchecked immigration from Sharia-dominated regions are hard to ignore:
In the UK, over 100 Sharia councils are currently operating in parallel with British law.
In France, the government has shut down dozens of radical mosques and schools promoting extremism.
Germany has documented a significant rise in honor-based violence, linked to Sharia cultural practices.
Yet here in America, the Biden administration continues to keep the border wide open, with over 3.2 million illegal crossings reported just in 2023. That’s not just a crisis it's a deliberate betrayal of national security. Democrats in Washington are willfully turning a blind eye to the potential for ideological subversion under the guise of “tolerance” and “diversity.”
This bill is not about religion it's about defending the U.S. legal framework from a hostile ideology. The Constitution is not optional, and any attempt to import laws that contradict it should be met with absolute legal resistance.
The fight is no longer at the border it's now in the heart of our communities, our courts, and our classrooms. If Republicans don’t act now, we’ll soon be facing a cultural and legal landscape as fractured as Western Europe.
