Gal Gadot Refuses to Stay Silent After Hamas Massacre on October 7
Hollywood star calls out media bias and rising anti-Semitism while standing firm for Israel and humanity.

In a world where Hollywood elites often remain silent or pander to popular narratives, Gal Gadot has chosen a different path one rooted in truth, moral clarity, and unshakable courage.
The Israeli actress, best known for portraying Wonder Woman, explained why she broke her usual silence after the October 7, 2023, Hamas massacre, where over 1,220 innocent Israelis including women, children, elderly, and Holocaust survivors were brutally slaughtered.
“I could not be silent,” Gadot declared in a recent interview. After witnessing the horrors of that day, where Hamas terrorists and Gaza residents launched a barbaric attack involving thousands of rockets and hostage-taking, Gadot made it clear: speaking up was no longer optional.
Her reason? It's not politics it’s humanity.
Gadot, herself a former member of the Israel Defense Forces and granddaughter of a Holocaust survivor, explained “When people were abducted from their homes, from their beds, men, women, children, elderly, Holocaust survivors… I could not be silent. I was shocked by the amount of hate, by how much people think they know when they actually have no idea, and by how the media is not fair many times.”
In the aftermath of the massacre:
Gadot openly condemned the attacks and advocated for the hostages.
She called out global silence and media bias, noting how the media often fails to acknowledge Jewish suffering.
She highlighted the disturbing rise of anti-Semitism, both on the streets of the U.S. and worldwide, where instead of condemnation, some celebrated the violence.
Speaking at the Anti-Defamation League summit earlier this month, Gadot didn’t mince words “Never did I imagine that on the streets of the United States, and different cities around the world, we would see people not condemning Hamas, but celebrating, justifying and cheering on a massacre of Jews… My name is Gal, and I’m Jewish, and we have had enough of Jew-hatred.”
It’s worth noting that during her recent Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, the celebration was interrupted for 15 minutes by pro-Palestinian agitators requiring police intervention to restore order. This wasn’t just a symbolic moment, but a stark reminder of the toxic environment emboldened by weak leadership and biased media coverage.
While many celebrities shy away from standing firm in moments of crisis, Gadot made clear where she stands not out of politics, but out of conviction, heritage, and a genuine desire for peace and safety for all.
As she so poignantly put it “When your compass is clear, your conscience is clean. I know what I’m advocating for, and I know what I wish for the world.”
