Fetterman Congratulates Trump for Israel Hamas Peace Deal

Pro-Israel Democrat hails Trump’s hostage rescue and praises his leadership despite party lines.

In a political shocker that highlights just how monumental President Donald Trump's peace breakthrough is, Democratic Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania publicly congratulated Trump for brokering the historic agreement between Israel and Hamas.

Fetterman, one of the few Democrats who has stood firmly by Israel throughout the conflict, took to X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday to express his support for the president’s efforts. “I congratulate @POTUS on this historic peace plan that releases all the hostages,” he wrote. “Now, enduring peace in the region is possible. Our parties are different but we have a shared ironclad commitment to Israel and its people.”

This rare bipartisan praise didn’t come out of nowhere. Trump’s announcement on Truth Social revealed that both Israel and Hamas have signed off on Phase One of his peace plan, which will:

  • Secure the release of all 48 Israeli hostages, including those believed to be deceased

  • Trigger a phased IDF withdrawal from Gaza to an agreed line

  • Begin the process of disarmament and humanitarian reconstruction in the war-torn Gaza Strip

Trump declared: “All Parties will be treated fairly! This is a GREAT Day for the Arab and Muslim World, Israel, all surrounding Nations, and the United States of America.”

It’s the type of global leadership the world hasn’t seen since Trump was last in office and it’s making even his staunchest critics pause. Fetterman’s endorsement signals that not even party loyalty can overshadow a deal of this magnitude.

Meanwhile, the American public is noticing. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said Trump deserves the Nobel Peace Prize for the achievement. But GOP Rep. Randy Fine went even further, stating: “The Nobel Peace Prize isn’t enough. If every living hostage is returned and lasting peace in the Middle East is secured, we should repeal the 22nd Amendment… There will never be another one like him.”

He’s not wrong.

For nearly two years, Joe Biden fumbled his way through one of the most dangerous Middle East conflicts in decades. Under his administration, over 30,000 people were killed, American hostages were left behind, and Israel was pressured to "show restraint" while terrorists fired rockets and slaughtered civilians.

It took Trump once again to clean up the mess.

Now even Democrats like Fetterman are forced to admit that Trump’s foreign policy works. His approach is grounded in strength, leverage, and unapologetic American leadership not soft diplomacy and endless appeasement.

This deal isn’t just a win for Israel. It’s a resounding rebuke of the weak, rudderless foreign policy of the Biden regime. It's proof that when America leads with clarity and conviction, the world responds.

And while D.C. insiders debate over whether Trump deserves a prize or a third term, everyday Americans are watching history unfold and remembering who actually gets results.
