FBI Probes Molotov-Style Device Thrown at Atlanta ICE Building
The downtown building also houses an immigration court, and the FBI says the device caused minor damage.
The FBI is investigating after a “Molotov cocktail-style device” was thrown at a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement building in downtown Atlanta, the Associated Press reports. The device was thrown around 8:15 p.m. Tuesday and caused minor damage, the FBI said in a statement.
The investigation was ongoing Wednesday and agents were “reviewing evidence and following leads,” the FBI said. No arrests had been made as of Wednesday, according to the AP.
The building houses ICE offices and also holds an immigration court, the AP reports. The AP photographed the downtown building on Wednesday, the day after the device was thrown.
