FBI Uncovers 2,400 Hidden JFK Assassination Records Following Trump's Directive

Decades of secrecy shattered as Trump pushes for full disclosure.

The FBI has uncovered thousands of long-hidden records tied to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, following a direct order from President Donald Trump to release all documents related to the case.

The 2,400 newly discovered records were supposed to have been transferred to the JFK Assassination Records Review Board and the National Archives under the 1992 JFK Records Act, but were instead withheld until now.

This discovery is part of 14,000 pages of previously unknown documents, found during the Trump-ordered review. It’s a bombshell revelation that raises serious questions about what else the government has kept from the American people for the past six decades.

For years, intelligence agencies have slow-walked the release of JFK assassination records, citing national security concerns. But Trump made it clear that secrecy was no longer acceptable.

“This is huge. It shows the FBI is taking this seriously,” said assassination expert Jefferson Morley. “The FBI is finally saying, ‘Let’s respond to the president’s order,’ instead of keeping the secrecy going.”

Despite this, U.S. intelligence agencies are still pushing for redactions to “protect sources and methods.” But Trump’s stance has been unwavering he has demanded full transparency and has promised to make all files public.

In 2022, the National Archives revealed that 97% of the approximately 5 million pages of JFK-related records had been made public. However:

  • 3,000 documents remain classified.

  • Another 30,000 contain redactions.

For decades, Americans have demanded answers about what really happened in Dallas on November 22, 1963. With these newly discovered records, the government’s wall of secrecy is finally crumbling thanks to Trump’s insistence on truth.

“A lot of people have been waiting for this for years, for decades,” Trump said as he signed the executive order forcing disclosure. “And everything will be revealed.”
