• A now-debunked theory about a plane allegedly turning off its transponder after departing near Orem, Utah. Patel clarified the apparent data gap was due to incomplete flight data, not a deliberate act.

“We are meticulously investigating theories and questions... to ensure every possibility is considered,” Patel said, noting that certain details are being withheld to protect the integrity of the case and the upcoming prosecution.

The FBI’s statement came the same day as the massive Charlie Kirk memorial event held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona a deeply emotional gathering attended by Vice President JD Vance, who praised Kirk as a “dear friend” and “patriot who gave everything for what he believed.”

“May he eternally rest in peace,” Vance wrote. “And may God watch over Erika and their beautiful children.”

This latest update underscores just how serious federal authorities are treating Kirk’s assassination — not as an isolated incident, but as a politically motivated act of domestic terrorism.
