FBI Knew Hunter Laptop Was Real and Lied Anyway

Levine, who was part of the New York Post team that broke the original laptop story, says the FBI knowingly lied to the American public. And now, thanks to chat logs and internal communications revealed by the House Judiciary Committee, there’s hard proof to back it up.

“We were trying to tell the truth,” Levine said. “They essentially ran an information operation on the American people.”

Levine said the House committee’s revelations, though not entirely surprising, show just how deep the deception ran.

“On the same week, the same day [the FBI] knew it was real, they were counter-programming the narrative,” he said.

That “counter-programming” was nothing less than election interference. Federal law enforcement officials deliberately cast doubt on a story they knew to be factual all to protect Joe Biden’s campaign from political fallout.

And it worked. Social media giants like Twitter and Facebook cited the FBI’s warnings as justification to suppress the Post’s story, lock down accounts, and throttle one of the most important scoops of the 2020 election cycle. A Daily Wire review of the laptop’s contents confirms what many suspected all along Hunter Biden was peddling the family name for massive foreign business deals, and Joe Biden’s fingerprints weren’t far from it.

Levine didn’t mince words when asked if the FBI could ever be trusted again:

“There must be a complete overhaul of the top leadership and mid-management agents,” he said. “We should get a slimmed-down FBI… I don’t want a giant FBI in the hands of Democrats.”

Let’s be clear this wasn’t just a cover-up. This was a coordinated, partisan operation by federal authorities to deceive the American public in the run-up to a presidential election.
