Erika Kirk to Receive First Charlie Kirk Legacy Award at Patriot Awards

This Thursday, at the seventh annual Fox Nation Patriot Awards, Erika Kirk will be honored with the first-ever Charlie Kirk Legacy Award a powerful tribute to her late husband’s mission and the values that continue to shape America’s conservative movement.

The award will be presented by none other than country music legend Jason Aldean and his wife Brittany, during a live ceremony at The Tilles Center for the Performing Arts in Brookville, New York. Following the presentation, Aldean will perform a special set, including his chart-topping anthem "Try That in a Small Town", a song that has become synonymous with rural pride and patriotic defiance.

Erika Kirk’s recognition comes just two months after a devastating personal tragedy. Her husband, Charlie Kirk, the fearless founder of Turning Point USA, was shot and killed on September 10 while speaking at an event at Utah Valley University. In the wake of his assassination, Erika was unanimously elected CEO and Chair of the Board of Turning Point USA, stepping into leadership with poise, conviction, and a deep commitment to her husband’s legacy.

The Charlie Kirk Legacy Award, which will now be given annually, celebrates individuals who embody the values Charlie championed throughout his life: faith, family, and free speech.

“Charlie Kirk gave his life fighting for truth in a world that desperately needs it,” said one Turning Point spokesperson. “Erika has picked up that torch and is leading with strength and grace. There’s no one more deserving of this honor.”

The Patriot Awards, hosted by Sean Hannity, have become a hallmark of Fox Nation programming a night where real American heroes are honored and patriotism takes center stage. Other awards this year include:

The event also features appearances by Fox News personalities including Dana Perino, Jesse Watters, Laura Ingraham, Bill Hemmer, Will Cain, Benjamin Hall, and more. Sponsors for the night include Tunnel to Towers, Patriot Mobile, Golden Corral, and Yrefy.

Since its inception in 2019, the Patriot Awards have become a celebration of American strength, honoring the men and women who make this country exceptional from veterans and first responders to the everyday citizens who stand firm in their convictions.

Thursday’s ceremony will not only pay tribute to those who serve it will serve as a reminder that the fight for freedom never ends, and that leadership forged in loss can light a path forward for generations to come.
