Musk Calls Out Reporter on Transparency and Accountability Issues

Elon Musk once again demonstrated why he is a force to be reckoned with, shutting down a reporter who attempted to challenge his transparency and accountability as head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

During an exchange in the Oval Office, the reporter pressed Musk about whether he was essentially “policing himself” and questioned what checks and balances were in place to ensure government oversight. Musk, unfazed, gave a masterclass in transparency, highlighting that DOGE’s actions are posted publicly on both X and its official website for maximum visibility.

Musk also took aim at the establishment’s flawed concept of trust, explaining that true accountability is not about claiming trustworthiness but demonstrating it through open access to information. “Transparency is what builds trust, not simply somebody asserting trust,” he declared.

This exchange is yet another example of the media’s relentless attempts to undermine those who push back against bureaucratic waste and inefficiency.
