Elon Musk Marks 100 Days of DOGE with Massive Cuts and a Warning to Bureaucrats
With $160 billion already slashed, Musk’s anti-waste task force shows no signs of slowing as it battles deep-state excess and liberal outrage.

Elon Musk is 100 days into his bold new role and already delivering a government shakeup the bureaucrats never saw coming. As head of President Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Musk has led the charge in slashing $160 billion in waste, fraud, and abuse across the federal leviathan. And if you think he’s done, think again.
In an exclusive interview with Jesse Watters this week, Musk laid it out plainly: “It’s a long-term enterprise. Because if we take our eye off the ball, the waste and fraud will come roaring back.”
Here’s what DOGE has already accomplished:
Cut nearly 15,000 grants worth $60 billion from USAID, targeting foreign aid projects riddled with zero accountability.
Eliminated hundreds of millions in DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) contracts, returning focus to merit and efficiency.
Reduced the bloated federal workforce, forcing government agencies to justify every position and every dollar.
That’s not just cleanup it’s a revolution. And the entrenched D.C. elite are panicking.
Of course, the left is furious. A federal judge in Maryland tried to block DOGE’s efforts, calling the cuts “likely unconstitutional.” But a federal appeals court backed Trump and Musk, allowing the clean-up to continue. That’s a win for common sense.
Behind the scenes, Musk’s team made up of data-driven, no-nonsense reformers—has become legendary. One member, known only as “Big Balls,” shared how he’s personally taken down fraud schemes that had funneled taxpayer money into shadowy corners of the bureaucracy. Another left Harvard to “serve my country,” despite being ostracized by the woke campus mob.
Their work ethic? Relentless. “DOGE does not recognize weekends,” one member told Watters. “We’re up until 2 a.m., Monday through Sunday.”
Let’s put this in perspective:
Under Biden, the federal budget exploded by over $6 trillion, much of it toward untraceable spending and left-wing pet projects.
Trump’s first 100 days back have already saved taxpayers more than double the budget of the entire Department of Homeland Security.
And while Democrats scream about “equity,” DOGE is putting the spotlight on efficiency, transparency, and results.
Naturally, the establishment and their media allies are on the attack. DOGE staffers have faced protests, harassment, and even vandalism. But they’re not backing down and neither is Musk.
His eventual departure from DOGE is already in the works, but the foundation he’s laid is built to last. The department’s mission, according to Musk and his team, is to make permanent change the kind that can’t be undone by the next Democrat with a pen and a phone.
This isn’t just draining the swamp. It’s napalming the bureaucracy that’s been bleeding taxpayers dry for decades.
