Whistleblower Doctor Testifies to Congress on Trans Surgeries for Minors

In a searing testimony that stunned lawmakers and cut through political noise, Dr. Eithan Haim a Texas surgeon turned whistleblower delivered a brutal truth to Congress children are being permanently damaged by transgender medical procedures, and the system knows it.

Speaking before the House Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on the Constitution and Limited Government, Haim laid out the horrifying realities of what is being done to minors under the guise of “gender-affirming care.” His words were clear, direct, and devastating.

“We would take children to the operating room, and we would make them better,” Haim said. “But in the same operating room they were taking them there and making them sick.”

Haim described shocking complications he’s seen firsthand:

• Urethral stenosis in post-surgical boys who can no longer urinate normally.

• Fistulas in “neovaginas” where fecal matter leaks into open wounds, causing chronic infections and long-term suffering.

• Young patients turned into lifelong medical experiments, locked into hormone regimens and surgical follow-ups they can never escape.

“This isn’t care,” Haim said. “They are destroying the lives of these children. They’re putting them down a road where they become a chronic medical patient that they can never come back from.”

His testimony also revealed the Biden administration’s disturbing retaliation against him. After anonymously exposing Texas Children’s Hospital in 2023 for continuing to perform transgender procedures on minors despite claiming they had stopped, Haim was hit with four federal felony charges under HIPAA charges the Trump administration swiftly dismissed after taking office.

Another brave voice joined him Vanessa Sivadge, a former nurse at Texas Children’s Hospital, who detailed how vulnerable girls were emotionally manipulated into believing that testosterone shots and mastectomies would solve trauma from sexual abuse, depression, and anxiety.

“Doctors emotionally blackmailed parents by telling them if they didn’t affirm their child’s delusion, the child would harm themselves,” she said. “History books will one day record this emotional blackmail as the greatest lie ever sold by the medical industrial complex.”

But instead of focusing on the abuse of children, Democrats on the committee largely dodged the issue. Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) bizarrely called unvaccinated kids “child abuse” but refused to condemn irreversible hormone treatments or genital surgeries on minors. Rep. Mary Scanlon (D-PA) rambled about Elon Musk, child hunger, budget cuts, and gun violence, doing everything possible to shift the spotlight.

Dr. Haim’s testimony is a wake-up call to the nation. Behind the sterile phrases of “gender-affirming care” is a dark, profit-driven machine that mutilates children, breaks families, and punishes those who speak out. Under Trump’s leadership, whistleblowers like Haim are finally being heard not hunted.
